For anyone that wants to try this hack out, here are a few things to note 1. This hack is MEGA Difficult, only try if you're an expert at Classic and Modern Sonic games 2. For the third act, anytime a warning arrow appears, be prepared to act, as you have less than a second to preform any action, if there is no warning arrow, just hold right the entire time 3. For the second boss, stay away from the boss at all times, and let IT come near you, then try to attack, also, try to destroy the little guys, they give you rings 4. The Down Dash will deplete one ring from your counter, The Forward and Diagonal Dash depletes 5 rings 5. Go Fast!

Now imagine if that was just the first phase haha. This hack is a gem. Not only the level design but the processing are chef kiss. I'd really want a continuation of this. Kudos to the creators, still one of the most memorable SHRs for me, alongside Eggman hates furries. P.S. one detail that I found hella cool is that it doesn't say "Sonic completed act X", it's "Sonic destroyed". So badass.

A guy who reviewed this legitimately thought it was a terrible hack because of the level design but he didn't understand that it was supposed to be incredibly hard. I don't understand how a person could have this misconception that it's terrible because of its difficult level design. It's intentionally incredibly hard not just for the sake of speed but to be very difficult. The bosses are great. The game is supposed to be an annoying challenge full of precise jumps

If you're referring to Antdude, this is completely wrong. This hack is not as hard as it's just straight up unfair, with multiple enemies and obstacles being placed where you'd never expect them. If anything you're the one with the misconception, as you see intentionally cheap level design as a "good challenge".

I fucking ADORE the New Movement System in Boom, Its got the Sonic 2 Physics with some new mechanics like A Classic Version of the Jump Dash, a Downwards Kick, a Stomp (Sonic Boom did all this before modern sonic, let that sink in) and hell of a lot more, and its evenshown in the level design that youre supposed to use these to trek on through the Power Plant
