I mean, he techincally does at the end of each 3rd zone. And the only way to get a good future in the first couple of rounds are to destroy the robot generators, but their existance was directly stated until years after sonic CD. So I blame who ever made this game giving kids a nightmare of a mechanical wasteland by a human.

The songs in the Japanese version were all cohesive. In any given zone, the past/present/future variants were all remixes of each other, whereas in the US version the Past songs were unchanged, whereas the present/future ones were completely diffetent. Also, some of the songs had wildly different tones (compare the USA and Japanese versions of Metallic Madness bad future)

This is one of my fav Sonic CD tracks and your 16 bit version really made it justice. Also, I believe the instrument that plays for the first time at 0:14 would fit really well in a 16 bit remix of the "Red Light District" music from Duke Nukem 3D (PS1 version). I just listened to it yesterday so I had it fresh in my memory.

I just said I understood that the rainforest fire is still relevant and needs more attention, but using a video of a Sonic remix, again a video meant for fun and entertainment, to bring attention to this issue and also use footage in the video is a really stupid idea. if you wanna do something to bring attention to the amazon rainforest fire, make something better and actually serious, something that stays on topic rather than just slapping footage in the middle of a fun video.

Admittedly, I only like three of the BF mixes in the PAL soundtrack, although Palm Panic Bad Future is thankfully one of them. (The other two being SSBF & MMBF.)

The other PAL bad futures are each a mix of ugly and catchy imo. QQBF is actually mostly dece (I just don't really care for it all that much), and CCBF & WWBF are only mildly worse and basically ok. TTBF is earrape.

I really liked legendofrenagade's genesis and cps-2 remixes of this track. But I haven't listened to the whole mix yet. Update: listened to the whole mix, while the broken horn in the middle of the track is on point, a lot of the instruments used lack the real oomph that was in the original and other mixes, I really enjoyed the creativity used in the stardust speedway bad future mix and how you used the samples and gave them the genesis quality to them. But this track does lack in similarity to other songs that has been remixed on this channel. So placing a few burning trees in the video is as much as one could do for this track, to atleast give it a more somber tone than the original, which to some is good for the level, but for the Japanese track of sonic cd, most songs in the bad future serve less sad tones and more dangerous and chaotic ones. This isn't a bad mix by any means, I just miss the rave style power the original had.

Sonic CD's soundtracks weren't 16-Bit, but were rather CD-quality tracks. This was one of the primary advantages of using the SEGA/MEGA CD.
