for a less comprehensible and unsimplified version of bluhbluh52's comment : Lord X's vessel/sonic is finally decaying after all this time, he just wants one final song before his vessel, well, decays. This is referenced by the mention of don't have time (referencing the short time he has in his last moments with sonic's body) and I'm waiting, still breathing, no longer worth deceiving. This flesh decaying but my HEART STILL BEATING might clarify that lord x wont die, or hes going down with the ship i dont got anything more this is just my theory
