Yes! half of the 16 channels are able to play PSG sound if needed

The wii versions, as far as im aware, are just singular audio files. Those can’t be broken down in this way, unfortunately.

This version is awful especially compared to the wii original but It does sound good when you remove the terrible guitars and only leave the base,percussion and the backing synths. Without those it sounds like a nice minimalistic version of tropical resort.

@@YoshiLightStar Take the SN76482 used in the Genesis for example. While it is PSG, it can only produce Square waves and Noise waves (unless tweaked, which can produce Sawtooth and Triangle waves, shown in the Master System). Meanwhile, other chips can generate waves with many different pulse widths.
