It does in the wii version, for some reason it doesn’t play here, without it it’s a lot less dramatic than the original considering the original version wasn’t meant to have just the sound.

I love Sonic’s laugh when Tails said “Badly Nosehair” at 15:27! & is cool at 16:05, 26:31 & part 29:40! Yet, I also smiled when Sonic was “talking to dead robot” part at 31:31 & got embarrassed when he got caught!😂

Pretty much everything is the same. It's just the graphics have been rendered, customization with Sonic's body, and some new remixes of the levels music. I'll think about getting it, but on the other hand, everything is the same in my book.

It's a shame that they didn't improve the cutscenes, as a matter of fact, they didn't even re-render them. They most likely just used an IA to upscale the wii pre-rendered cutscenes, and they look rough at times.(27:24)

Kinda bummed they didn't take elements from the DS version for Ultimate. More boss variety, more plot, an *actual* final boss involving Super Sonic, other characters besides Sonic and Tails, etc. Cool that we got customization though

I personally think the custscenes are awful. They were great AT THE TIME. Why didnt they redo the cutscenes? Like even lipsyncs REALLY off alot of the time and everythings grainy. It isnt even formatted for my screen when they play. Its honestly sad how this remaster has been done.

It is just me or is “Reach For The Stars” way worse in this? Like did they do something, because this just sounds… bad? And for a remaster, I have to say, the cutscenes look REALLY bad. Sonic and Tails look weirdly darkened and the overall animation is really poor, especially when Sonic talks.
