You can customize cosmetics and change your profile icon. But other than that not a whole lot of differences. And FYI, the big issue with the game is the framerate and numerous visual glitches. There might be plenty of other issues that others noticed, but those were the big ones for me.

I sometimes get stuck in the first tunnel of Act 1. Sometimes Sonic breaks through the tunnel and dies, but this doesn't seem to be due to the emulator. I hope it will be fixed in the remaster. I'm using Google Translate, so I'm sorry if the text is wrong.
