Well tails, I guess you could say his motive is that he's bored. And you all shouldn't worry, unlike the majority of the exes, Rewrite Prime is not evil, not some sort of demon or computer virus controlling Sonic, instead, Rewrite Prime is literally just Sonic, if he was God. From what I know, besides a little bit of insanity and crippling boredom, his personality should be almost the exact same as Sonic's, joyous and carefree, fun and kind. The only difference is that he has literally infinite power and is immortal, so living as long as he does has the after effect of making you insane... Now that I think about it he might be a little nihilistic as well.

Actually Rewrite’s Boredom is what made him discover the alternate universe’s he is no stranger to killing people how do think he trapped Majin Sonic.EXE and Lord X. Trust me if Rewrite gets bored enough and discovers Tails’s universe there will be catastrophic consequences. Rewrite is no stranger to being cruel fun fact Majin and Sonic.EXE tried to stop him multiple times and he ended up fussing the two together. This is not a friendly EXE this is not just “Sonic if he was a god” this is someone who’s not a force to be reckoned with this is someone who’s taken down people on a new level strong because he was bored because he can.

Btw the one entity that shows up with the red gloves and has a jacket on is a fusion between 'Majin' and 'Xenophanes' which is done by Rewrite Prime as a cruel joke of some kind also the jacket they wear is a reference to Gogeta from Dragon Ball which is the fusion that is done by two People doing a special dance of some kind to fuse together PS: If you already knew this and just made the Character's not know that is fine I just wanted to put the information out there sorry
