Something to notice: in the data select at around 20:21 when you went on Tail’s icon, you can see him crying and shaking his head as if he’s begging you to not choose him. I think Tails knows his fate and is begging you to not let it happen, which is really sad to be honest…

This is technically a big lore bomb, cuz of the cylinders with sonic in it, and as you traverse the level, it changes to exe My theory is that something happened to sonic involving eggman, and eggman tried to heal him, but something happened to turn sonic into some kind of monstrosity Also exe’s dialogue makes him seem somewhat vengeful, but I can’t be absolutely certain, as the isn’t enough evidence to prove this, but something DEFINITELY happened to sonic

It was actually a demon named exetior that obsessed over sonic so much he literally possessed and became sonic himself but of course he added his little twist to the world as you can see.Interestingly enough this version of this sonic exe is actually named Lord-x and he is the first exe nobody can beat him or delete his files he’s simply unstoppable and takes his time mentally torturing the main sonic cast until finally ending them.

I think if the second secret eggman level was finished i think it involve 3 death scenes, following the tradition of the second secret level (tails and knuckles having 3 as well). Obviously metal's blasts are involved so the omt barriers are implemented back and there is the omt sneak guy. Which in this case kills both Eggman and Metal. And my headcanon to the end of the stage might be Metal protecting Eggman from OMT and said OMT hacks Metal and uses him to kill Eggman, then kills metal shortly after, message saying: "FINDERS KEEPERS"

Sonic OMT might be the best take on Sonic.exe in my opinion, because it's so fucking over the top, and insane and actively like fucking crazy, dropping any sort of attempt at atmosphere or being actually scary to just do cool shit, the art style and sprite work is genuinely incredible and the hyper stylization where it's just exaggerated hypergore and borderline body horror is amazing. The sound design adds so much to it, it's just like its own thing, dropping anything about pretending this is somehow a real copy of Sonic and it's beautiful and amazing. Sonic.exe is already silly and over the top, so why not embrace it and go all in. Goes fucking hard, I am god
