This is a beta build of Knuckles demo and it's not completed so there may be problems in some levels or contain unfinished sprrites etc!
The public version that will be released soon, many things will be changed.

One thing I noticed in this version is that Tikal (or the entity disguising itself as her) slowly changes with each crystal collected before the chase. Also, is that plant at the beginning of the second level holding Charmy or a badnik in its jaws?

For a while I felt sonic exe games lost their charm In try to adding to much lore and forgetting a lot of the horror creepy pasta elements that made it at the beginning glad to see this game decided to focus more on it

I agree with you. Even if i love when they try to put some lore in the game, il also love this kind of game who tells you "you are here and you do you're best to survive. See ya". It's more scary that way.
