Infinite had lost to shadow not sonic, and he got destroyed because shadow had powers back then while infinite only his skills as a mercenary. After he got the ruby he whooped everyone ass fought a war by himself and almost conquered the world by burning everyone to ash. Lost to plot armor power of friendship BS and bad writting they didn't even make him fight shadow again, literally got "killed off screen" Regardless he got the best drip #Iamnotweak
