Sonic.EXE: The Phantom’s Hallucination of Despair
STORY
Previously named, "Phantom Nightmares", Sonic.EXE Phantom’s Hallucination of Despair is about Sonic, the fastest blue hedgehog alive, accidentally discovers the Black Phantom, a
power which a demon is held, and later ended up being possessed by ExPhantom. Due to this, it is now up to Sonic's friends, including the doctor himself, to save Sonic from this evil monster. Your choice of life or death, is depending on them.
PART 1 STORY
Miles "Tails" Prower, riding on his own beloved airplane, was excited cause found something interesting, so he called Sonic for a meet up. Later, they went to Angel Island. Sonic, the blue hedgehog of himself, went to find the thing that Tails was "interested" in. He finally found it the object (in which case, the object was laying down on the grass). Sonic grabs it, and then the adventure begins...

On one hand, having characters powerful enough to kick the .exe ass takes away from the creepy factor. On the other hand, these are characters that have saved the world several times, so it makes sense that they aren't exactly defenceless. I'd go as far as to say that it is insulting for them to fall so easily as they do in any other .exe game, but then I remember what Sonic team has been doing with Tails and it is sadly accurate. Luckily for the fox, the rest of the teams that make sonic games treat him much better. Yes, that includes the Sonic Boom games. *ahem* Going back to the .exe games... At this point what usually pisses me off is how easy it seems for Sonic to be possessed, so having something as powerful as the ruby phantom as the reason why is actually refreshing, and doesn't make Sonic look bad for having a demon taking his body from him. Having an og like Exetior, Exeller, Sark or whatever sonic.exe you want to made up makes me feel like "Okay, who is this guy, why should I fear him and why are they able to do that to Sonic?". Now, the phantom ruby, which has been stablished that can nullify the power of even the Chaos Emeralds? Now that's something that I can respect enough to accept that Sonic can be possessed if it was involved. The fact that, following the worst ending, Sonic is not only fighting back, but the .exe is on a timer because Sonic is actually winning? Now that's even better!
