@@thirteenspng7794 the level design and story sucks beyond belief and even contradicts elements seen in earlier games, classic sonic controls like shit, chaos DOESNT EVEN HAVE AN IN GAME MODEL, music was mid (more like music was midi because why does it sound like a soundfont half the time), super sonic was DLC, infinite is underdeveloped and unintimidating as a villain for what he can do, it bogs mania down simply by being connected to it, as well as generations, and the avatar system is half baked and needed more customization.

@@LordScout well at least you lined it with generations most people don't do that. I low-key thought the game was fine. Level design isn't even that bad, I think they give you a ton of rings. Really it's just like any other sonic game I played. And they did offer a 3D game too, it wasn't JUST 2D things like sonic colors. The story wasn't that bad, I understood the point and it seems like you're the only one that understands sonic forces is literally a sequel to mania so points for you. Classic sonic was pretty slow, I guess they just botched it seeing generations spin dash was way past cool. It's just supposed to be different y'know? Sega thought it was a good idea to make something different. New styles, features, all that. Guess the majority just didn't like it lol.

This game was pretty nice when i first played it and completed it. the sad parts is that there were only 30 main levels and the levels were all extremely short, as well as classic sonic having shitty controls/physics. i liked the modern sonic/avatar gameplay. as well as the avatar creation. but the part was the story that got me. the story seemed a bit too gritty and dark when i played it. but when i went into episode shadow, and then the comics, it felt pretty legitimate to be considered a story. this game was pretty mediocre with the cons i pointed out, but the pros is what makes it an inbetween. 7/10 Sonic Game for me. pretty good sonic game for those who enjoy a more casual game. Honorable Mention: the lore behind the game, dlc, and comics gave more opportunity for AU/OC fanatics

This game feels…weird…first time I played it I got goosebumps from how good it was, to play as 3 characters and one is your personal character (OC DO NOT STEAL moment). Now that I watch the gameplay when I’m older (I was like 8-9 at the time, now I’m 15), I see how this game truly is. It feels so undercooked, and sort of repetitive. It truly wasn’t Sonic at his apex. I still think this game’s good, however it’s not a 10/10 like it was when I was a lot younger. Consider it a 7/10. (IT’S MY OPINION, DON’T ATTACK/TRY TO CHANGE MY MIND, just express your opinion like I did).

If you have a PC, you NEED to play Sonic Forces Overclocked. It's a mod made by fans with a new story and cutscenes and acts as a sequel to the original game. The controls are tightened up, the levels are improved, reworked and lengthened, it's the full package!

One thing I like about sonic forces is that they keep the animation in the cutscenes, like the boost and jump-ball. In games like generations and frontiers it almost looks like the game is embarrassed of the jump ball. The boost and jump ball in forces are my favorite, I was a bit mad when they changed the two in frontiers. A lot of people say that the forces and frontiers jump ball are the same, trust me they are not the same. The forces jump ball is darker in color, more perfect looking and straight. Also the spikes wave a lot in frontiers and look whiter. The boost controls in frontiers are far better, just the animation sucks.. it’s also pretty slow. Back to forces, the bosses are obviously the same as every other sonic game. Frontiers has unique and just better bosses.
