I beat sonic frontiers and it was an alright time and the story was quite good but the Eggman and sage dynamic was barely fleshed out in the story at all. Sure there was hints but not much. UNLEAS you read the egg memos which more than half of those aren’t about sage. Anyways I’ve beaten sonic unleashed many times before and liked the story but never felt emotional to it. Then I beat it again like 2 days ago and I actually started tearing up a little bit when chip was talking to sonic about being light Gaia and that whole scene. THEN I loved the game so much that as soon as I beat it I started a new game file again straight after and beat it again. AND STILL TEARED UP. That is the first time I’ve ever teared up in a piece of media and I had already beaten the game twice before that. Sage and Eggman just don’t have the friendship and connection chip and sonic do

as a Sonic fan, if Im extremely honest I am already grateful for the franchise I've been a Sonic fan since I was less than 10 years old and I've always looked on the bright side of the franchise and appreciate what SEGA has done the characters in the franchise kept my sanity in check and helped keep my spirits up when I needed it, whilst I was growing up and dealing with tough times like the harassment from bullies at school and some issues at home that I had to deal with at the same time... thats why this franchise means a lot to me! so what if it has a bug here or there in their recent games? This song is so well written that it also fits a soldier returning from war. The first verse could be applied to any. Take soldiers returning from lets say World War 2. People back then lost a lot. Family, friends, their homes. So much happened back then. Sure the game fails at showing war but it’s there as a background. It’s used to build the story and Gadget’s character. I like this game for that reason. (Yes I know the levels suck but the story was ok)

The last time I saw her, she was at a hospital on the west side of my hometown of Columbus, Ohio; I hugged her one last time. We hoped and stood with our boy. His new game is the best I've seen so far! Thank you. Sonic. For never giving up! If a cartoon hedgehog can do it, SO CAN YOU! :D Edit: After the game awards. I have had many things happen to me these past 6 years. The death of a friend of mine. Going from 4th to 10th grade. Going through a hellish 6th grade year where I hit my lowest point. I had to leave all of the friends I knew in my old schools because I had to change districts. It's been almost a year since I lost a friend to suicide. And it tore me apart. Here he literally witnessed Sonic get beaten through shear power alone, why would he think he could stand a chance. Here it took 6 months to reveal Sonic was alive, a lot of time for Sonic's "death" and for guilt to break him down.

Good music is one thing. Ratchet and Clank, the Ori games and Assassin's Creed all have good music so you are right in that sense, but Light Of Hope is a song. There are not many games with lyrical songs in them, much less one as good as that.

I just finished Forces a week ago after playing it for the first time in my life a month ago....and it was not very good. But this song....this hit different. I haven't lost the fun I had with older games. Heck, I started Black Knight a while back and I'm having fun with that (not like Secret Rings, ergh)! The future of Sonic may not look all that promising, but with the success of the movie, the shift in management around SEGA, and the general positivity of the true fans, I'm...hopeful. And this video is just great. Thanks. Toot toot, Sonic warriors.

this song shows how there is always hope and you should never give up hope because hope will always be with you. So never give up and always find hope and there are always friends who can help you through the toughest of times. Trust me I learned it the hard way, you don't want to know how. But anyways back to what i was saying, just never give up and you can always find someone you trust to help you through it and they will help you, even though you think hope is lost there is always someone to help you your friends and heck maybe even your family members. Just remember to always keep trying and always talk to someone when you are feeling like hope is lost.

I’ve been a sonic fan ever since I was six. I hate that forces got so much criticism from everyone. People need to understand. It doesn’t matter if a sonic game is short or long, he’s here to make us happy and be in all of our hearts. His songs make all of us happy and on the edge of our seats. Some are action packed and some are calm like the light of hope. I loved sonic forces even though it was a short game.

I agree. I’ve learned to just let Sonic Team experiment with Sonic and the stories they tell. It may have paid off because I loved Frontiers and its deep story as well as its small character arc for Eggman and his growing father-daughter relationship with Sage. Maybe it’ll be the start of returning to the tone of the adventure games.

There's a lot good and bad happen in this world including on Sonic franchise - From Roger Craig Smith stop to voice actor for Sonic - Sonic Movie 2 came on April 2022 - Sonic Colors will be remastered (maybe) - 30th anniversary Sonic but still on COVID pandemic - Sonic 3 and Knuckles still don't get next gen port - Sonic 3 and Knuckles still don't get Christian Whitehead remastered - Sonic 1 Prototype was found after lost for almost 3 decades - And many more.. I just hope with this song there is Good future or maybe try to move on even with bad future happens just like Sonic CD
