Sorry im late but frankly as much as i love shadows drum and bass levels i have to say this song, when lacking the guitar the song feels incomplete. so i gotta say i prefer the original. I love this version as well though

It's actually a crash cymbal. But yeah, it sounds cool. A instrument so tiny that you can barely hear it among very heavy drum and bass mixed with dubstep sounds
