@@TheBetaNetwork I believe that this game has brought a brand new appeal to the sonic franchise to all audience. This game is a great foundation for sonic team to further develop the “improved” sonic series❤. Honestly, I love the sonic games.

@@TheBetaNetwork As a child, he was such a iconic idol. I was quite sad that the series started to “roll down hill” as time went by… but like sonic, the team never gave up. Honestly, although the game had weird clunky movements, it is a BIG step up from previous titles. So to that, I am sooo grateful. Also, I really enjoy games that have quite to give; that is actually why I love BOTW. There is so much to do in that game and I feel free to do what I please. Those gaming styles are and always will be my favourite. That’s why I come to REALLY enjoy this title. Last thing I would love to point out, this game is quite long. Like I wasn’t expecting the game to last at all on playing time if I were being honest😂. I’m so happy it’s 8 times longer to complete than sonic forces😆. Literally that game took me only 2 hours to complete no joke😭.

I got the platinum trophy today! I found the game great it wasn’t perfect but it was definitely better than what we got the previous years. My rating for the game is a 8/10. I really enjoyed and loved the game as a long time Sonic fan I approve this game.

Good choice! I think Sonic Heroes is my favourite gameplay-wise (even though the jank is unreal at times) closely followed by Colours. Would you want to see Sonic Team make another open-world style game after Frontiers? Because I think this could be a major 3D Sonic renaissance if they can nail in this formula.

I'm really enjoying the story so far and all the little call backs to past adventures the characters have had the only real negative thing I have to say so far is the pretty bad pop in even like the cyberspace levels once you get use to its learning curve as the best way to look at them is those traditional sonic levels have been turned into special stages and all special stages have had learning curves to get good at . Just hope sega and sonic team don't take the negative reviews to heart as they really have come up with a good formula for future titles

@@TheBetaNetwork Hopefully in the main game there would be multiple playable characters already there. I would like it to be more of an open world, instead of teleporting to the islands, you can just run to it, like all of the biomes are connected. They need to bring back sage and hopefully there's a new opponent. Maybe infinite will return because he's didn't die, but would also want to see mephelis come back too. The cyber space stages need to be longer and not so linear in width. That's all I have for now.

We have to remember that Sonic games are the fastest games ever, and it's probably almost imposible to fix the pop-ins with the speed of Sonic with that graphics quality (that aren't better cuz of the same reason), neither in the Switch. It's very dissapointing but we don't really know if there's a way to fix it easily, only the Sonic Team.

It's not that @persontheguy It's because I'm using a dynamic microphone, where my mouth is literally right in front of the diaphragm (pick-up). That's why the PUH sounds are a little more pronounced, but I really like the microphone sound overall. That's why I went with it. Hopefully that clears things up - Anthony

Starfield is upcoming but I'm sort of tired of space games since I have no mans sky and a bunch of starwars games. Resident evil 4 remake just came out so I want to buy that soon. Oh yeah I'm sort of excited for the new silent hill games

I've nearly finished the game, really good so far. I'd definitely give it a high 7, low 8. Hopefully the next one can clean up the lack of polish though, it's obvious that certain parts of this game could've been tweaked and cleaned up some more. But Frontiers now sits with some of my favorite games in the series so far

The game isnt bad, but the problem is the speed being at the forefront. There is no momentum meaning that it's super easy to reach a high speed. If you want a really fun sonic game you need momentum and speed working together to make an adrenaline rushing game.

i agree with what you have said here but HOP OFF GOATLEASHED WEREHOG IS THE GOAT i was honestly hoping that frontiers would have more varied combos like the werehog without the unbearable length of the night stages in unleashed, it still turned out great but i feel like the combat leaves stuff to be desired

It’s nothing like Breath of the Wild and the Werehog wasn’t a gimmick, it was a whole gameplay style that took half of the game. The wisp are more of a gimmick.

This game made me feel stuff man. The stuff that generations made me feel. The passion I grew with in my childhood. SPOILERS AHEAD While the final boss and true final may not have been the finisher I was looking for especially Supreme they were so underwhelming the game it's self is perfect in my standards. Idc about the glitches I got a real funny one where sonic just slid across the screen in a puzzle cutscene. I do wish that sonic frontiers would have a new game + or replayable titan fights or super sonic in the overworld, heck even all three would just make this game so much better. This game has tons of potential. I hope that Sega puts it to its fullest. (I'm also very extremely happy as infinite returned kinda in the true final boss and he was so robbed of his potential and the new updates and DLC might be able to bring him back).

The game peaks at its cutscenes but when your running in the open world and your building up this nice flow of maneuvering the open world and a dash panel sends you flying into a platform midair that kinda ruins it for me. Other than that 7/10 game. Cutscenes and level 1-2 are a 10/10 for me.

Even tho I havent even played Frontiers yet,I am still really happy that the start of a new generation of Sonic games succeeded!Yes this game has flaws,like the pop ins,how Sonic is controlled in cyberspace(From alot of gameplays I saw,it looks heavy to run through)but that is only my guess for now,and some bugs,but the story,characterisation,open world exploration etc are seriously amazing!Still dunno why everyone complains about the true final boss,its actually pretty good to me.

I don’t get the werehog hatred lol I thought the gameplay was pretty good. I get the medals were annoying. But the werehog itself controlled well and had interesting combat mechanics. It reminded me of playing as knuckles in the adventure franchise.
