Did this on switch. It worked, but there were two giganto's. One was there to run through while the other one did spawn as intended

Unfortunately, that doesn't work for the fifth map. The barrier goes all the way around it in a circle, so you can't get in. You can actually run around it, walking horizontal too.

@@darkspinechronic-1825 That’s the one. It was literally the only one I couldn’t get the intended way (Though I’m sure I did a few others in unintended ways, but from falling from higher platforms and the like rather than this glitch)

Just a little heads up I wouldn't recommend doing this after beating giaganto because you can't respawn him and you'll be stuck the only way out is to go to another island and then come back

Can't you teleport if you have either 100% Map completion or any of the 2 scroll that let you teleport?

I can do this ANYWHERE on almost any enemy in the game, EXCEPT for the group of enemies needed to get to Giganto. I never get the right height with them. I get it everywhere else, why is that? How is it that I'm frame perfect everywhere but this one set of enemies?

Could you find the trigger spot for the wyvern? It's Easy to get to the tower early, but I can't find it's spawn trigger.

If you search out the Sonic Frontiers speedrun.com leaderboard there should be a link to the speed running Discord where a lot of helpful stuff can be found including screenshots of the exact position of the wyvern trigger if that would help

If you want perfect optimal height then yes it's frame perfect otherwise the slower the Boost is after the stomp attack the less height you will get hope that makes sense

i just did this but for some reason hes already spawned in, hes just standing there and hes floating with no collision. ive walked everywhere and it wont start the fight

Yeah, there are two walls. The "you stray too far from the path" wall is one, but the arena itself has its own wall surrounding it, so you must have fallen in-between the two walls.

The timing for this is ridiculous. I think if you want to get the height needed you have to do it frame perfect. Which I just can't do. I've tried for like an hour and then gave up. I just can't make it into the arena with this. I always hit the barrier and it just seems impossible

It is possible, but you gotta time it properly. If you're getting good height, but not enough, you're just barely too late.

I don’t think this is possible on switch, ‘cause I can’t do the stomp attack unless I’m in a middle of a combo

Its totally doable on switch, the fastest any% run on switch uses it multiple times because theres no real different across platforms for this trick. The stomp combo move works assuming you dodge first, because dodging while locked onto an enemy gets Sonic into the "ready to combo" state.

It just comes down to timing, the quicker after the stomp attack that you boost, the higher you should go

Going there works but there is a rock at the spawn point so you cannot spawn the Giganto
