All it's missing is the reticle used for the homing attack as well as the Special Stage physics (controlling the stage with the left and right d-pad instead of Sonic).

It took me longer than I’m willing to admit to realise that this hack is called “Sonic the Hackable” as a nod to Sonic 4’s original name and not because it’s an open-source hack of some sort.

Yes! I actually loved the look Sonic 4 was trying to go for, but I admit it turned out quite bad. This though is just purely what I wished it would be. And hearing that Splash Hill Act 1 theme made me smile, because I still remember when someone turned it into 16-bit and how amazing it sounded (because that's how it was originally gonna sound. Can't wait for this, I might actually play through this fully when this releases (I usually don't play fangames).

Whilst I hate Sonic 4, I believe this hack has potential. Maybe marble could have been longer and maybe changed into the first stage of episode 2 then it would have been cool. Overall I'll give this little demo a 3/10
