Honestly, major kudos to Eggman's VA for the impressive performance this issue.👏 👏👏 He's improving on harnessing his inner Eggman. Listening to him reminded me of the nostalgia I had when I played the games. Very well done.

I’m curious. While Sonic and his friends investigates, what’s Eggman gonna do in the meantime? There’s no way he’s just gonna sit back and wait.

As I theorized, Eggman is after Clutch specifically. He's using Sonic to flush him out, because the detail everyone overlooks is that Eggman was in a slump until the insult. Either Clutch has something Eggman wants like a rare component, or Eggman wants the man himself to use for his talents. After all of Eggman is such a notorious litterbug, skills like Clutch's could prove useful for developing a new weapon for the Doctor.

Thinking back to the Endless Summer comic, the Diamond Cutters weren’t pretty good surfers. I can see why they didn’t take boards.

I feel bad for team sonic in this. What happened wasn't really their fault, it was sabotage, not faulty equipment. Bad enough Lanolin didn't find the malfunction suspicious and accused them for something that wasn't their fault and disqualified them for nothing, but she was more concerned about the rules than team Sonic's well-being. Kudos for Tangle for calling her out on it

@@SuperJamz64 there's still time for her to improve, given she at least decided to listen to Tangle, Whisper and Sonic in issue 74 about saving the people on the crashing shuttle and in central city and that there's issue 75. Still, the time she was a bull-headed dope won't be forgotten or maybe not even fully forgiven

@@RobertJames-zs7xc Yeah, I’m only stating how I feel about Lanolin right now. If Lanolin properly redeems herself, I’ll consider what she’s done to be forgiven, but not forgotten. For example, I’m never going to forget Tangle naming her and Whisper’s new team the Diamond Cutters without asking Whisper, but she was just caught up in the moment and wanted to be close with Whisper like her old teammates so they wouldn’t drift apart again, which was a valid fear since Whisper had almost gotten killed by Surge when she went solo looking for Mimic, asked Whisper if there was something they needed to talk about only to be turned away, and she gave a sincere and tearful apology as soon as Whisper told her how she felt about the name, so like Whisper, I forgive Tangle. (I think some people give Tangle way too much hate for this one moment) And while it’s hard for me to forget Sally slapping Sonic and calling him selfish in the Archie comics, I forgive her since she was under a lot of stress in that moment and eventually apologized to Sonic and got back together with him. Likewise, if Surge and Kit fully redeem themselves and make amends with everyone they’ve wronged, especially Whisper, I won’t forget what they did as villains, but I’ll definitely forgive them, especially if they earn forgiveness from other characters. No matter what, I’m never going to forget how horrible Lanolin was in the Misadventures arc and the Phantom Riders arc, but if she properly redeems herself, she will earn my forgiveness. I never forget, but I am willing to forgive most people if they earn it. First she kicks Silver out of the Diamond Cutters when he was stopping Duo/Mimic, and now she’s telling Sonic, Tails, and Amy to get off the tracks when their gears were going out of control and almost got hurt. So what’s next? Lanolin thinking of kicking Tangle and Whisper out the Diamond Cutters because of how they choose to side with the others instead of her? This is why my headcanon voice for Lanolin is that of Minerva from The Walking Dead Game and Abby Anderson from The Last Of Us 2.
