You know what would have been a cool concept in Forces? Instead of just keeping Sonic locked up on the Death Egg, send him to Null Space right away. Then, like you suggested, have most of his levels after that take place in Null Space, trying to find a way out. The beauty of this is that not only would they have a legit excuse to say “Sonic is dead” while still being able to play as him (he’s trapped in Null Space and can’t contact his friends and vice versa) but then they’d really be able to play around with the concept of Null Space. Maybe the zones are warped amalgamations of the game’s locations, like you’re running on a stretch of grass from Green Hill that suddenly starts curving up and down like that first part of Chemical Plant. Eventually (through plot reasons or whatever) Infinite sends the Avatar to Null Space, and then they can Double Boost to escape. Just an idea.

Null Space is simultaneously the best and most disappointing Stage in Sonic Forces. While the outside section probably features the best level design in the entire game, the actual Null Space section is the absolute zenith of that game’s missed potential.

You should check out the old stages too. They got some changes too. And Demo 2.1 released today, it fixed your "favorite" boss Heavy King in Quarz Quadrant. The floor wont break anymore. Its way easier now

Honestly I hope the Return of Metal mod takes creative liberty with Metal Sonic's reign over the world by combining multiple stages into one. For example: Marble Zone + Metropolis Zone = Marbopolis Zone (or) Star Light Zone + Ice Cap Zone = Star Cap Zone

Near the start of the sandopalis boss, the icons on the boss were invisible, then they were on the boss, and visible! Then they disappeared again. Then appeared again. This happens constistently. Every skip in the video swaps it. I mean like in the video. If you go back to a part it will still be visible if it was before, or invisible if it was before. Fix your recording program and maybe your editing one.
