Just letting everyone know, if you go to the level select, go to the sound test, and input the code: 02,00,01,07,08,01,05, then you can have the flight ability like in the final boss, *but* in *any* stage.

Easily my best 30 bucks spent. I HAD to get the physical version just for the reversible cover alone. (Bought the first one on digital download.) The art book was just the icing on the cake. This game is proudly gonna sit on display alongside prized comic books and Pop figures I have for years to come. This isn't just a game, it's a relic of simpler times for me, with all the nostalgia, and I couldn't be happier. Props to all dev teams involved. This is what happens when love and effort is put into an game series that has kinda fell by the wayside. It's something truly special.

Before I got the encore DLC I actually played encore in the normal mania with the "act clear with debug" in angel island

with reuploads comes revised comments 7:03 i know thats meant to be a joke but... WRONG! other than that, i did enjoy encore mode for what its worth and the Quality of life changes are pretty nifty tho the transition from hydrocity to mirage saloon needs more work considering what happens in mania mode. i am a bit bummed out that they havent fixed the bubble shields physics, for context in 3&K by mashing the jump button you can dribble bounce like a maniac. in mania you just bounce once, inputs be damned so its not the same. im also not fond of the fact that they nerfed certain bosses and even then, they couldve had harder variants in encore mode. level layouts couldve been a little more altered, ill agree with that notion as well. the pinball bonus stage is ok but i think i still prefer the gumball bonus personally with the electric orb bonus being a nice 2nd but i guess its better than nothing. 8:46 i know theres a cheat for max control sonic (all abilities) but why wasnt that an option either? its like the best thing and it works so well! (commenters note: the original comment i had before was way better than this one imho but that got nuked along with the original upload of this video so this is the best i was able to recall)

I think a good HCZ to MSZ Transition would be where the Player gets launched Up by a fontane Like in S3&K and then Lands at the beach of Angel Island. The troup jumps Out of the Sand (ala Sandopolis) and gets on the Tornado to Chase Eggman, where they then head to Mirage Saloon.
