Even though Sonic the Hedgehog 4 graphics look better but this is overall the better game. Play Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3+Knuckles (together for complete game), & Sonic Mania. Skip Sonic 4 especially pointless boring episode 1. Sonic Mania is the REAL Sonic 4. I just wished they use Sonic 3's appearance instead of Sonic 1 & 2's appearance & I wish they had more zones since Sonic 3 had more zones, but still great game though.

Sonic superstars is out now! Although, I’m not sure if you’ll like it- you should give it a try! You should also try playing Sonic Origins. It’s the first 5 (I think) major Sonic games but they’re revamped!

If i would make encore mode, i would change the levels Green hill - emerald hill Chemical plant - labirynth Studiopolis - casino night Flying battery - wing fortress Press garden - ice cap Stardust speedway - starlight Hydrocity - tidal templest Mirage saloon - sand shores (even though is the same level but the changed name) Oil ocean - marble garden Lava reef - hidden palace (1st act is the sonic 2 style, the 2nd act will be the sonic & knuckles style) Metallic madness - genocide city (not from the sonic 2 beta, i mean like a full on level) Titanic Monarch - death egg Egg reverie will be the same

how to unlock the time stone mode when it inverts colors 1. click the ctrl h and magnifihine glass button at the same time for the computer. nitendo switch vesion 1. go to settings 2. go to system 3. go to change display colors 4. click invert colors. thats all i know really, this was found out by me doing this. The fact that a simple fan game turned into a OFFICIAL SERIES THAT GETS PROMOTED BY SEGA and the person who made it got HIRED BY SEGA shortly after, really says that sega isn't as strict as nintendo. Sonic Mania is the best Classic Sonic game, and takes the best parts from old school sonic, and improves on it with a twist. I loved playing this one a lot, It's a Masterpiece. If you want to get into Sonic games, I highly recommend you give it a spin-dash.👍

I always wished that being gold Sonic didn't sentence you to listening to the same "gold Sonic theme song" over and over again for the duration of the playthrough. Wish the normal level mucic would continue or there to at least be an option to toggle gold Sonic theme on or off. I might be the only one with this gripe, but drives me nuts, lol.
