What I love about the trailer is that it didn't spoil that much...for long time Sonic fans. I think the only people who will be spoiled if they watch the trailer is an average movie watcher or new Sonic fans who hasn't seen Shadow's lore yet, or anyone who hasn't played or watched playthroughs of SA2 Veteran Sonic fans knows about the lore and already had spoilers that's two decades old, what will be surprising for us is how they'l handle the story and adding in new elements to it. But for the average person or beginners, best to either play SA2 or wait for the movie to arrive. Just avoid the trailer

I’m really liking the idea of Gerald being alive and the true antagonist of the movie. 2 Jim Carrey Robotniks really will be double the fun. That last scene with Gerald dressed as Santa and Zico geeking out and tackling him into the Christmas tree was hilarious. Also nice to see Tails will be playing a huge part in the movie and won’t be sidelined. He always gets the short end of the stick in literally everything so it’s nice to see him getting some love

What an awesome trailer!!!! It was so peak to see Shadow having a gun!!!! OMFG, I'd get even more chills if he were to say "damn"! Another funny and cool callback to SA2 was when Eggman pissed on the moon 😂😂😂 That joke is 23 years old and it still doesn't get old😂😂😂 I almost cried though when the images of Shadow and Maria appeared. Poor baby!!! Why did life have to be so cruel to him?! 😢 I just know I'm gonna cry a good few times throughout the entire movie. It was a great trailer overall. I can't wait to see the movie!!!

Did they referenced Robotnik doing the "I've got an annoucement" aswell ? That trailer just sold a bunch of tickets just with those games references the announcement, pissing on the moon, flashbacks scenes of Maria with Shadow. It didnt spoiled anything either in fact, i think the first trailer and the second kinda make you theorize how the movie might end because we know Robotnik is not gonna stay in his grandfather side for long once Shadow was talking about having nothing to rule.

I didn’t expect Shadow having a Gun and comparing Tails to Pikachu which is Funny, this Trailer is Peak with reference to the Chao, Ark, and Shadow’s Past, I still not sure how this Movie will go as this Trailer showed Little but the More they Hide the More Curious I’m getting, someone’s dying for sure and if the Humans market the Chao, it’s possible that Chaos exists in this Universe.

This is going to be a great movie and good thing to note the changes on how the look and functionality of the Ark is pretty telling. People speculate there may be a final hazard situation, but instead we might get a similar situation but without the biolizard. The movie universe is well establishing that anything that has been made or about to be a thing because of the chaos Emeralds not already being a thing until the end of Sonic 2. The Ark will be powered by Shadow, the lack of Shadow using chaos control without his signature 1 emerald method, and time travel if applicable will have to be explained through some other method because it also involved chaos emeralds initially, not to say it wont be in the future. Everything we know in Sonic lore will have to be re-explained with this in mind and that's not necessarily a bad thing in fact its a welcome change. With all that said and done, since movie 4 is basically confirmed, the biggest thing they can do is introduce not just Metal Sonic, but Neo Metal Sonic at that in order to make the movie as high stakes as its going to be in Movie 3. Seeing Neo Metal Overlord or Super Neo Metal on the big screen will be about just as exciting as what we're seeing currently with shadow. We seen how cool Neo Metal Sonic can be thanks to the recent Death Battle and will make a huge comeback if put onto the big screen. If some other character comes around such as Silver for example, that would have to be explained about the time travel such as an AU where the chaos emeralds were functional in that regard and could be a way to bring in Blaze as well when exploring the possibility of AUs.
