This crossover was absolute perfection. All of the references and easter eggs, Sonic paling around with K.O, and best tof all, no negativity towards the Sonic franchise. Nothing passive aggressive, back handed or any complaints. There was no hate towards the recent games, Sonic '06 or Boom. They even shaded Mario. Gaming KZbinrs and news sites should take a cue from this episode and be more objective. This was truly an enjoyable experience for all Sonic fans.

Look, I'm not saying the Sonic franchise should be free of criticism, but there's a difference between criticism and blatant hate and disrespect which is what Sonic typically gets. And for issues plenty of other game franchises have and for doing things others do as well. Gaming franchises like Crash, Spyro and Call of Duty for example don't get nearly as much hate as Sonic with all the issues they have. Plenty of other Game to Movie adaption have problems and it never became as crazy of an issue as it was with the Sonic movie. People act like the people behind Sonic killed their dog or something with how they behave toward the series or that they're forced to have anything to do with it. And a good number of those people call themselves "fans" on top of it. I stand by what I said. This crossover was a welcome change of pace from the biased, nostalgia blinded and plain immature ridiculousness that plagues the franchise.
