I think that the P-06 Project will open the doors to remake ALL of old Sonic games what we're all love so much! DX, SA2 and Shadow The Hedgehog NEEDS A REMAKE and this is perfect opportunity to make it all!!!!!!!!

Honestly, Shadow's graphics always looked better than 06's or any HD Sonic game. Shadow, Secret Rings, and Black Knight are still the prettiest Sonic games to me due mostly to their blurred lighting. Neither realism nor the classic abstract artstyle can ever look as good as this semirealism. Advance trilogy and Battle are the prettiest 2D games, but to me they don't look as good. Heroes may share the same engine with Shadow but it mostly lacks the blurry lighting and is held back by the classic artstyle making levels too abstract even despite the realistic textures.

I strongly disagree. I think Sonic Unleashed has the best and most fitting visuals and aesthetics for a Sonic game.

@@Hariburger I mean sure the City stages are just that but the rest? We got a colorful Theme park, neon Cyber Space and while Dark is the Black Comet with his bright purples certainly not generic or colorless. The Arc stages pull there graphics right out of SA2, Cryptic Castel meanwhile reuses a lot of Heroes. I guess Glyth canyon is a bit doll but that makes the contrast with Sky Troupes only more noticeable. Prison Island has a nice unique look that pulls from Metal Harbor and White Jungle from SA2 and adds bright green sludge to the mix in references to all the nukes Eggman set off there back in SA2. Air Fleet looks amazing on its outside sections with the sunset. And Lava Shelter is a perfectly Eggman-y final stage. So while Shadow overall has more dark stages than the average Sonic game do I think claims of it being bleak are highly overstated and seemingly coming mostly from the City stages with most of the other more unique level ascetics being just ignored.

@@ElectrikStatik900 Unleashed Frontiers Generations (kind of a cop out but I think it improved in the visuals compared to originals) Adventure 1 (Adventure 2 is also amazing but I think 1’s level aesthetics were a bit better overall) Also if the models in Heroes weren’t so shiny, I would put it on the list too. Because I love the levels, but the characters do look a bit shiny.
