Ah, it has parts that are built in Elixir and the plan is that it should use more Elixir in the future. The language used in it is something Ruby-ish which looks much like Elixir. It has Erlang code in it as Joe Armstrong got involved with certain parts at one point.

It should yeah. Depends a bit on if you have samples or synths that give you the sound you want I think.
