I saw an interview of hers from about 1 or 2 years ago where she was made aware of the Sonic Symphony and said she’d love to be a part of it, I’m so glad that finally came true.

I saw that, too. The sad part was she didn't know that all Sonic R songs have already been in Spotify since years ago. Because it's an interview so she couldn't express her disappointment, but closing her face with both hands, facing down, giggling with "Oh, no! I never heard that". Imagine how much money she can get from the royalty if Sega reached her in the first place.

@@GeorgeMartinusalso I don't think it works like that, most of the vocalists are contractors which means they get paid to make a set amount of songs and the songs become Sega's IP. This is why Johnny has his own band because he can actually earn from his music rather than selling them to a company.

I actually cried listening to this, doubly so when the camera turned to see how huge the audience was with people who loved her music just as much. TJ has such impressive stage presence, and her music is the warmest I've ever heard. What a wonderful performance.

I think this marks the first time I've ever seen a KZbin video from an event that I was at live!!! I was up in the balcony, and my voice was gone by the end of the evening!! Looking forward to going again (hopefully) in 2025! Edit: And it just got better! When the camera turns to face the audience at 2:40 , my seat exists within the visible area, so I am technically in a KZbin video about Sonic! I'm counting that as a win!

Man, this is amazing! Wish I could have been there. And while I love TJ as much as this crowd, I feel bad that no one was cheering for the maestro Richard Jacques, the one who wrote the melodies and the lyrics for these songs. Look closely. Richard goes straight for his keyboard, plays, and leaves. Doesn't even stick around to wave to the crowd because no one seems to care. TJ gets all the glory.

Love what they are doing, but I personally think they have a poor understanding of sonic music. How can you do a sonic R medley and not include "Work it out"? How could you not do "ice cap zone" or "flying battery"? Those are staples that should be their own suite
