0:17 Nostalgia hit me so hard right here. Sonic Riders was one of the first Sonic games I played and god damn the music to this intro had me ascending when I was 7 playing this game and it still makes me ascend today. Idk why but when the guitar starts playing and that big wave of water appears 😤👌

I was in the third grade when this came out, BEGGED my dad to buy it! He FINALLY bought it for me when it was damn near six months old. But I played this everyday before and after school. I used to take the game booklet to school to draw all the characters in it. Damn I miss that.

Sand Ruins was a pain to win as a kid. The sand atmosphere and coliseum-like style also reminded me of Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks' last fight, another level pretty annoying to beat when you're younger (especially when playing co-op).
