I don't think a song always has to make sense for it to be good, and I don't see how recent pop songs have anything to do with this, it really isn't like that. I think the energy and peppyness suits the game rather well, considering it's a game of speed.

PlatinumIvory, I think Rush and its sequel had more platforming elements than what we had seen from Sonic before (the exception being the GBA games). I don't really see it as a "speedy" game. That's just what Sonic is associated with. Energy and "peppyness" for music would be fitting for the game. The instrumentation is decent. It's just those high-pitched voices, how can people stand that? Sonic Rush Adventure also had voices in the music, but the voices weren't tweaked, making it bearable.

this song is so full of memories for me i mean one day i went to my moms dance class and i was playin this game then i went to the bath room and left my ds on the bench ...when i came back poof!!!!! it was gone !!!!! i loved sonic rush so much i cried for like a month whenever i heard anything like any of the songs from the game

@TehComentar But Sonic can still win in a fight against her. And since Blaze is kind of like sonic from her world, So it would make sense to give her SOME kind of power that can atleast rival Sonic's to an extent. Hell she even has her own Chaos Emeralds (Sol Emeralds) and she has a Super Form. She not too overpowered but just enough where she can hold her own pretty damn good....Sonic can still dub her ass though.

This is the one Sonic game where I just had to turn the sound off entirely. The music has a lot of energy in the same vein as the classic games, no doubt. But the chipmunk voices just wear on me after two minutes. They don't even make any damn sense. A song like this almost reminds me of recent pop chart singles (blech), which further drives the annoying factor up. Why did anyone think that was a good idea? Naganuma did better work on Unleashed. This works for Jet Set Radio, but not Sonic games

First of all, you had to UNLOCK and buy thew LICENCE for gambits before you could use them, which was quite difficult, and second of all, they were OPTIONAL. I hate people that try to rip on ffXII for the gambit system.

Are you kidding me? Thats one of sonics best games in my opinion. Sure it has its flaws, Sonic CDs level layout isn't the best (springs and spikes interfere your path) but hell it's still an fun and awesome game! I think it's better than rushes annoying bottomless death pits, theres hardly any ground floor and if your at top speed and forget to jump on a platform or press a switch, prepare to await your death, the layout in that game is terrible!
