Chao in Space 3 was in Generations as a reference to being in 06. Also, they thought Shade was the only female character without clothes on for a change..... and turns out she was actually ENTIRELY covered up. Casino Calamity is so long compared to the first 2 and they took 12 years to not release it. lol I recall that I was told there were no plans to release a sing-along for any stage after Casino Park/Bingo Highway. But Casino Calamity is still being worked on. I heard "It's over 9000" for the first time cuz of these shorts. And only recently realized it was the Oceans Dub which surprised me since it was SO well known. Chris Sabat still said 9000 but said it underwhelmingly, then said 8000 more accurately in Kai, but then a version of Kai has him say 9000 but the way Brian Drummond says it in the Oceans Dub. lol I'm surprised the Sonic Shorts are even being put in the spotlight again since post 2015 culture is kinda too sensitive for this kind of humor. We said all sorts of offensive things back then because them being offensive was what made them funny. The difference is that we just didn't take it as seriously and knew it was just joking around.

OH YEAH! People ACTUALLY thought that Hyper Sonic caused seizures and thought that's why we don't see him anymore. But the seizures thing was fabricated by the short in Volume 3! LMAO And yeah, Spax put up those posters for boycotting Sonic 06 because of the 4kids voice acting. People actually LOVED Sonic X, but a lot of people also hated it because 06 is when the fanbase started growing in toxicity. After 06 let everyone down, Sonic became infamous. Well also Shadow with the guns which was stupid. But ALSO it's because Ryan Drummond tried to voice Sonic in Sonic X and they turned him down. Then SEGA replaced the voice actors with the 4kids voices without notice. And at the time, people hated the 4kids voice acting in general let alone for Sonic. And nothing about it has changed. Fans have just decided they love Griffith the most because Ryan was too far back for a lot of these fans to resonate with and Roger is the "change" no one likes. But eventually we will have enough voices that this will change as well.
