They added Balan after the game came out. I think it was just to poke fun at how you don't actually play as Balan in Balan Wonderworld.

A lot of these feel like "How many references can we throw in?" rather than "What actually makes sense for the Sonic universe?" (And yet ironically, the alternate color palettes are pretty much devoid of references) Like, did we seriously need THREE characters with Raging Demon Fist?

I remember my friend brought over his laptop to my place when we hung out once and we played this game I was playing as shadow and I pulled off his level three when I heard the activation sound I burst out laughing and said “omg is that the za wardo time stop sound effect”

I'm guessing there were no good audio files of Espio. So ArcForged used audio files from another character that I don't know. It's like how he used Yamcha's voice for Mighty

@Derpsy OK I found it ! You need a lot of ring, try in training. When you have enough rings, do a qcb (slide forward forward/down, down/back and press the bumper key, it's r2/rt on my gamepad.
