One thing I really like about Sonic running across the ocean is that the ocean has WAVES you know? It's not stagnant like it is in a lot of animated shows. Sonic running across huge bodies of water would be EXHAUSTING even for him. That's a really good detail to have in these movies that make the world feel real, and lived in.

Well, I can't wait for Sonic 3, which will be releasing December 20th of this year. And what was even more amazing, besides what was shown at CinemaCon (they did not release anything to the public in terms of footage), was that Shadow the Hedgehog will be voiced by Keanu Reeves.

Easily better than the first movie, and perfect voice casting. They managed to get the same VA that does Tails in the games(Colleen O'Shaughnessey), and Idris Elba was perfect as Knuckles. The Death Egg Robot and Super Sonic scenes were cool. I agree that they should’ve focused way less on the human characters since their dialogue is kind of cringe. Imo the wedding plotline despite how corny it was, was probably a way for them to introduce GUN into the Sonic movie verse since GUN is a canon organization in the Sonic games. Also can’t wait for Keanu Reeves as Shadow The Hedgehog in Sonic 3.

Also GUN is necessary for Shadow, I mean how can you do the cover for the Shadow videogame without a gun? ;) but seriously they're necessary for Shadow's backstory. Sadly I don't know where to see the Knuckles series so I have no clue with that one.

@@codyraugh6599 The Knuckles series is kind of devisive, but it did something that may fix that. It's small, but if you want to know, SPOILERS BELOW The main villain reveals that G.U.N. isn't entirely new. They were formally a team led by Robotnik (though whether Eggman or Professor Gerald founded it is unknown). They essentially rebranded themselves to distance themselves from Dr. Eggman.

Rob's take on Who Framed Roger Rabbit is crazy. Definitely need to react to that next. Many mature moments in the film have one of the best special effects in movies that many others after this are still trying to imitate. Great reaction nonetheless! Fun Fact: Super Sonic was actually inspired by Super Saiyan mode in dragon ball, also if you ever noticed in Sonic there are 7 Chaos emeralds and in dragon ball there are 7 dragon balls.

⁠@@56brandonray tbf in S1 Sonic cannot turn into Super Sonic anyway even if you collect all 6 available emeralds so there’s no issues there, as for STF I don’t believe we ever got an explanation as to why there were 8 emeralds in the game instead of just 7 but I’ve seen a few theories as to why that is. They can range from the 8th emerald being a fake, the 8th emerald is actually the Master Emerald but shrunken down to be more portable (pretty sure Knuckles wouldn’t gamble the Master Emerald but hey it’s still possible), etc.

Despite me liking the movie, I definitely felt like tails needed a story arc you could’ve took him out of the movie and nothing would’ve changed and despite these guys talking shit about the dance scene, that’s the only thing that kind of shows their chemistry other than that sonic has more chemistry with every other character in the movie, and this is supposedly his best friend

Also, I do agree with them about the gun introduction and the wedding however, I do think the B story of commander Walters forming gun and trying to track down Tom and Maddie in order to get sonic should stay but maybe instead of a wedding it should’ve just been a vacation that gun set up expecting sonic to come along with them

If they make it to where Tom's family played a part in Project Shadow as the GUN operative who shot Maria, that’ll add a good conflict for Shadow all together. Because now Shadow has a reason to want to hurt Tom and by default hurt Sonic. I also hope they incorporate Eggman's internalized inferiority complex that was introduced and expanded from Frontiers. A reason why he wants to be the center and why he's such a try hard, its due to the neglect he suffered when he was young due to Maria's death.
