Someone needs to make their own Sonic 4 on the Genesis, as a direct sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and as an entirely new game. Not like the actual Sonic 4 AppStore games this hack is clearly based on. It should be a heavily modified rom hack game, playable with Genesis hardware, with Sonic , tails and knuckles as playable characters, and maybe even another character or two, such as Amy or Rouge, or heck, even Tom the Police Officer from the movie. Just a thought.

This mod is great, but I feel like more of it could be better. My favorite zone palette is Oil Ocean Zone while* the other ones can be improved more. I noticed they used the boss music and made 16 bit version soundtracks for the zones. Great upload today man 👍🏿

I remember this hack. At least the original graphics for Lost Labyrinth looked nice, and E.G.G. Station looked okay. Good thing Sonic the Hackable exists now. Also Oil Desert's palette is really nice too.

I played a more broken version, and act 2 is extremely glitchy, mad gear crashes on the title card (in the version I played), and both white park is a glitchy hill top.

the creator only added splash hills style, lost labyrinth style with new layout, and mad gear with a new layout. most of these (mainly episode 2 zones) are just completely left unchanged for just have a pallet swap with different music. heck, white park doesnt even HAVE A PARK! i do like the sonic 3 styled sprite and that they added his homing attack, but thats really the only thing i find that good of this remake.
