This is getting good MKGD as usual If Whisper is suspicious of Mimic in this chapter I don't even want to imagine what Its gonna be like when Kit and Surge show up in a couple issues its gonna be an emotional overload. Plus it'll be nice to see those 2 again after their Arc I'm very curious to see what Kit and Surge were up too after they caved in that base.

Sorry but i won't sugarcoat it Lanolin knows Silver and his powers my ass she seem not knowing anything about Silver and his powers at all ! if she so called knows then she's dumb enough to think that he's lacks control and she didn't even question it when Duo(Mimic) was wrong after he said that silver didn't make it out but it wasn't the case The dude has more experience in fighting than her in fighting Eggman so she shouldn't say such BS like that i know she inexperinced but that NO excuse for her annoying bossy behavior here i fact even though Whisper is on to Duo(Mimic) i REALLY hope that he at least something that comes to bite her she needs to be humbled

Don’t forget that mimic can only shapeshifter into people that he has seen before so what if the person we see in the cover was not mimic but the person who he was pretending to be. All mimic has to do is look at a person and they can copy their appearance, so he must have kidnapped the person actually trying to become a diamond cutter and hid him away and silver and whisper found him while they where hunting for mimic. My other idea is that what we saw was not the official cover for that upcoming idw comic. Don’t forget that before the issue comes out they go through many cover pages for the issue until they decide on a final one. Also and this many just be me but I think that cover may be fan made because I have seen fan art covers that look very close to the real idw cover.

It would be pretty interesting if this all went to Mimic and Clutches plan. First, Mimic causes a commotion and draws attention to himself, especially Whisper, then switches himself out with the real Duo, who is working for Clutch and in on all of this, makes a sympathy plea that he was envious of Silver's powers and such, and obviously cannot revert back to Mimic since he is the real one. Once suspicion is diverted, Mimic switches back to do his job and actually act like the infiltration expert he has been hyped up to be. Would be an interesting switcheroo scheme and make some sense why he acted so rashly during training.

That's what I am wondering too. I feel like it was way too early to make a move. Either it was part of his personality, or something much bigger at play, like a diversion of the real problem coming soon

Mimic's Duo form looks similar to the original Diamond Cutters' teammate Slinger (the Marksman) just younger, with blue/purple fur, and the Fluff in the ear.
