I'd never be able to play an instrument like that. I appreciate bringing your skills here on KZbin for us to see.

Thank you. But I have to say, it's not impossible. If you are determined and practise you can learn to play any instrument.

Fun Fact: According to KZbin, this is in the Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 Soundtrack (If you don't know, it's an album by Masato Nakamura that include the demo tracks and Mega Drive versions of Sonic 1 & Sonic 2's soundtracks.). Congrats!
@PlayAccordion11 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yea that's strange. I don't know why KZbin thinks my version is related to Nakamura's album. But for a small channel like mine it has really helped to reach a wider audience! 😊

Nice cover. Accordion is a super underutilized instrument. I've always been curious if songs like "Night Falls ~ Evening Star SWR" are possible on an actual accordion as I don't play one myself. Are they?
@PlayAccordion3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! 🙏 You know if you ask me I would say there is literally nothing you couldn't play on accordion. 😉 If there is a melody-line it can be played. I listened to Night Falls and it could actually work well. Even for an accordion solo. 🙂

Nice cover!! So good that apparently, KZbin confused it for the original track and put it on the auto-generated Masato Nakamura KZbin channel alongside all the actual tracks from the game. For some reason.

The spin dash, which is now commonplace, wasn't possible back then. I wish they'd added the fox from the start, rather than just the hedgehog... (But even if Tails was there, he might just get hit by the needle and blink...lol)

Yea. Really missed the spin dash while making the gameplay. Glad they came up it for the newer Sonics.

I believe accordion is a secret national instrument of Japan. I'm quite sure Masato Nakamura, Yasuaki Fujita & Koji Kondo are actually great accordion superstars in Japan. 😆 They just rearranged their songs as chiptunes.
@TwoBlackMarks3 жыл бұрын
@@PlayAccordion Never say never, they made games like Tetris, Strider and not to forget Mario has that robust Soviet look, beeing a worker, red clothes and big mustache, I can connect the dots, and the music really fits the accordion, I think they may be really into Cossack Dancing, Accordions and Kalinka music in their sparetime. You just reverse engineered their music back to original and simultaneously solved an ancient Japanese secret by luck.
