This is from DMC3. The animation was done back in 2005/06 so how could it be from DmC anyway? And this song isnt even the right one! Its Divine Hate (Vergil's theme) from Special Edition that is used in the animation.

Nazo your fight with Dark Sonic was so evenly matched because, he drained you, and you drained him. The emeralds respond to emotion if the characters emotions are hate, anger, and vengeance then the user of chaos will turn too use negative chaos energy, or dark chaos. Technically Dark chaos gives the user the power to drain his, or her opponent. But, if the people, or Animal they care about dies it could activate this deadly form it is caused by suffering though.

The Ultimate Lifeform if Sonic stayed this way forever he'd have to drain negative chaos energy, or any dark power. Sonic's dark Emotions such as if Tails, or Knuckles died he would go on a rampage besides this sonic wouldn't care.

This is why you should never, and I mean never mess with Sonic's dark form.He is so strong he can take out someone saying he's strong just in one shot.Dark Sonic feels to some people that he's just black and his spikes changed,but actually because of his negative thoughts,like when Nazo nearly killed Knuckles,Shadow,and Tails. I've heard that Nazo in his base form is as strong as Super Sonic or Super Shadow. So, if Sonic could overpower nazo in his Dark Super state, He could be as strong as his hyper state. Idk. I could be going overboard.

Dark super sonic uses negative energy which is twice as powerful as positive which means dark super is twice as strong as super sonic but when he transforms into hyper he has to use the master emerald to make the chaos emeralds into super emeralds when that happens the emeralds powers increase by about twice as much so I would say dark super is as strong as his hyper state
