OK I gots me two theories: Theory One: When he ate the first non-hot-dog it awakened a long buried feral instinct as hedgehogs can sometimes actually go cannibal. Theory Two: There was something in the non-hot-dogs that is slowly making him into a Zeti type creature and that made him addicted to eating more non-hot-dogs which makes the something keep working in his brain, thus what shadow sensed being all him. This series is pretty good. It’s great cause it’s all it takes really, one thing to turn for the worse. One small thing in the world to turn a Hero, into a Monster. Granted, this Monster is the most powerful warrior on Mobius, and that you can tell that this, is Sonic now. Tails still wants to save him, even if he knows there is no chance. Sonic is his best buddy after all.

could be because it's from a person who we not only least suspect, but from a known hero who can easily get people alone and with his speed and experience fighting can easily over power most people. Plus, since you're a sonic fan it probably "hurts" (as in something in your head telly you this is wrong) to you're hero/favorite character get corrupted with no way to fix it.

Anything where our True Blue Hero with a good heart has finally snapped always piques my interest. I also absolutely love the way Sonic is drawn! W top surgery scars! My only question is: what are those things on the edges of Shadow’s eyes? I’ve been wanting to know so badly lol. It doesn't make any sense, but Sonic would really be able to defeat most of the mobius people. But Shadow, Tails and Silvera could twist him (especially if he does not use a chaos emerald). For Shadow is a death machine created from the blood of Black Doom, in its basic form it is stronger than Sonic (he also uses full chaos control, firearms, skill in hand-to-hand combat), Silvera can travel in time and has telekinesis (he can easily tear himself away from Sonic) , and Tails, thanks to his intelligence, will be able to outsmart Sonic. So everyone dies, and Sonic's unbearable monster is just a condition of the plot (because if not, the plot did not happen)
