I Absolutely Agree!!! Sonic Generations 3DS couldve been special if it used the handheld sonic game stages.

This game was my childhood. Played this game incessantly. The theme for Act 3 always gave me goosebumps

I remember playing this on a friend's Game Gear, the music would stop whenever an enemy exploded because the console couldn't play so many tracks at once

Only the noise generator, providing the "percussion" sounds for the song, stopped because destroying an enemy also generates a noise output.

You enjoyed it that much, didn’t you? I don’t blame you. I liked this stage a lot. It pretty much surprised me when Triple Trouble only partially entertained me. Also became my favorite stage in this game.
