I like to think Mephiles got arrested by the Zone Cops due to the events of Sonic 06 and that the Zone Cops reset Sega Sonic’s world, not the Solaris candle. That candle scene was a fake memory implanted by the Zone Cops. Last-Minute Edit: Sega Sonic is the video game Sonic.
