I love how the concept of Eggman land is to torture Sonic, and I think the game executes that perfectly! (Not as hard as dark souls or sometimes geometry dash but hard enough to earn the title of one of the hardest levels to exist)

As someone who has only recently gotten into the full extent of the Sonic games (I played Heroes and Rush all the time as a kid and also watched the TV shows, but I never really got into it) It kinda makes me sad about what they are doing with them right now. I just want some good games to play. I want to look forward to being into these games, but not because they have a bit of a reputation of not being good.

Penny, I want to thank you, not just for the feel good and entertaining play through in general, but letting me finally experience the end of this game! It’s one of my favourite sonic games ever, but I’ve never managed to play it to the end. I’ve had some... awful experiences with Eggmanland, as much as I do really love a lot of the level design in that stage, the length really took its toll on me and getting a game over in that very very last room when I could hear the sparkle of the goal ring was one of the worst game experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve never seen anything past that moment, and I couldn’t think of a better way to experience that absolutely beautiful ending than this. Thank you so so much for always bringing such good vibes to one of my favourite game franchises!!!!!!!! Thank you!!! I wish you good luck in everything you decide to do in your life

I know this is my 3rd comment on this video, but I tend to watch these in parts. Watching this stream (although I only got to watch the first hour or so of this live on Twitch) was such a ride. All 3 of these parts were amazing and got me to go out a buy the Xbox version of the game to play through myself. I know it's kinda dumb to be this happy about it, but I'm still giddy to have had my donation comments read out as I really feel like I'm part of it all. I'm really glad i took the time to watch all of these, and also cry silently at like 1am in my room because of the ending.

2:54:40 - Colors DS is not just supplementary game to Colors Wii - it's basically Rush 3. You get a new storyline and characters - although main events are the same as in main game, - including first post-06 meeting of Silver and Blaze, gameplay style of Rush with Wisps, and a whole new Super Sonic final boss (that was supposed to be in main game according to rumors, but I don't think there's any confirmation on that). I found that out like a couple of days ago and was very surprised. Some untimestamped words about other games you mentioned: - People probably said this to you many times at this point (sorry, just in case), but UnWiished's motion controls are optional, you can play it with GameCube or classic controller without them. That plus whole new level layouts for both day and night stages (even if some of HD Unleashed levels are missing) and lack of medals still makes Unleashed Wii a favorite version for a lot of fans. Well worth a look, at least on Dolphin, since you're currently doing Primehack. - Speaking of Dolphin, Black Knight has a mod called "Ai HD Texture Overhaul + Controller Support", which, basically, does exactly that, adds controller support and new UI fitting it. If you would want to try experiencing this game, which is very much worth it, probably some of my favorite Sonic characterisation until Frontiers and basically the finale of 4Kids Sonic era, look that up at Gamebanana.

Okay, time for me to blaspheme all over here. Recently finished playing the 360 version of this game, am currently replaying the Wii version, and I WAY prefer the Wii version. The 360 version looks nicer and has more in it, but the Wii version's level design is way less frustrating and I super prefer the snappier controls it has. Add to that the fact that Sun & Moon Medals are a non-issue and the frame rate is weirdly more stable, and I just find it a way easier game to digest.

Honestly, the 360 version has enough going for it that I recommend people to get both games. I 100% admit that it is a grander experience, and I do like that, but I just think the Wii version is built a bit better, and it's just that I'm having a more fun time with that.

I played 360 Unleashed for the first time after watching Penny play it. So only like a month or so ago. I am now in the middle of playing the wii version, and I am preferring the 360 version personally. For me I preferred having a hub world that you can explore. But I can see why people would like the wii version more.

The wasp enemies really are the worst. They made the hit box exact to the model, which would be fine if the devs didn't place them SLIGHTLY OUT OF REACH. Yeah they are flying enemies, but since they stay so close to the ground, it woulda been nice if they had made the hit box more generous. I just yoink them and slam them on the ground. Makes life SOOO much easier.
