Honestly, I would say try Sonic Unleashed before you knock it. Some people rag on the game, but it's my favorite game in the series. I highly recommend it!

Unleashed certainly has its flaws, as do most Sonic games, but it's still a great game. Funnily enough, the Werehog gameplay is somehow more polished than the unleashed boost gameplay in my opinion too.

endless possibility was my favorite sonic theme when i was a kid (still is), and i also loved 1985 and high school never ends, so the song gives me all sorts of warm nostalgic feelings. watching your reaction while listening to it made me tear up i also love how much you enjoy the werehog battle theme. i think its one of those rare themes thats best enjoyed OUTSIDE its intended context lol. its undeniably a fantastic song but its infamous for a reason

Endless Possibility (or Endless Possibilities if you want the title to make sense :p) is to this day my favorite of the Sonic vocal themes. Unleashed being my favorite game in the series probably plays a bit of a role in that, but the song is just amazing. Perfectly encapsulates what Sonic believes in, very fun to listen (and sing along) to, and never gets old :) I'll hear this song when I'm 50 and have nothing but fond memories, I'm sure of it

Sonic games generally have phenomenal soundtracks regardless of the overall quality of the games, and Unleashed is among the best OSTs in Sonic history. There's just SO much to love, because Sonic as a franchise doesn't ever settle into a musical genere. Every OST treads new ground, and in the case of Unleashed, it touches on multiple genres within the SAME OST.
