So I saw the custom models, environments and music and thought it was really cool and THEN I saw that all of it was made in Dreams and thought it was even cooler, this is a great fan project, I only have two suggestions and that is to lower the volume when characters are talking so we can hear what they're saying and to lower the volume of the music because it seems to overpower the rest of the sound in the game, besides that, I wish I was able to play this

It's rare that a Sonic fangame impresses me, but this is one of the best I've seen in a long while! The style and animations look so good, the gameplay looks fluid and fun, and everything just fits together really well! A bit disappointed it's limited to Dreams, but it's making me want to pick it up just for this! Can't wait for the Story Mode!

This plays and looks beautifully. I like all the moves they added so much! Surprisingly I did this all in one run (besides epicly failing at the start Metro Nightlife and edited it out lol) I did notice a few spots with some heavy fps dips, I wonder how this runs on PS4? xD Other than that the one critique I have is enemies respawn and you can get infinite points from them. I think the points are abit to dependent on enemies as well. Other than that this game is awesome, love it!!!

On all Dreams Sonic fan games I saw, this one is comparable to Sonic Adventure 3. Sonic Venture seems beyond all expectations except some flaws but nothing too mean. There's a good diversity in stages and you have the possibility to customize your character controry to most of Sonic games. The soundtrack is globally good. To finish, it's still supported. This game is in my selection of games I would suggest pn Dreams.

Oh... the Chao garden is basically done at this point 😏 Only drawback is that you can only have one Chao at a time... or else it absolutely destroys the PS4's framerate lol. Other than that, it's a fantastic replica of the SA2 Chao system!

This might be the best Sonic Fangame I have ever seen, no joke. This looks like what Sonic 06 wanted to be but failed at badly. I love the techno/instrumental/Genesis hybrid music too. SEGA take note you fools. Only complaint is that the bloom lighting is too high, other than that it is perfect so far.

My main complaint is that the environments seem so big. I wish it was scaled down because whatever sense of speed there is ends up feeling less significant. It’s like an ant zipping around the yard. Sonic shouldn’t need to bounce everywhere if the scaling is right either. The jump should do plenty. I also wish the rails made a little more sense like in levels like city escape or even green forest. Just my thoughts. Beautiful job nonetheless.

This is fantastic, the controls look smooth, the stages look fun and the presentation is very high for a fan game made in dreams. One thing i think should be in the game is more of a focus on momentum and physics because there's alot of it is just speed with style than that here if they could find a way to get keeping speed as a reward this could probably be the best 3D Sonic fan game of all time

I recently completed my review for this game. My advice is to tone down in the controller vibration since the shaking has thrown off my concentration. Ideally it would be a small vibration when Sonic destroys an enemy. I also would like to know how the tutorial in Overtime’s play through looks better than mine. (With the whole stage tainted by a static screen.) Other than those comments, the extension of these stages brings a Colors-ish style and the enemy variety brings new yet simple combat opportunities. I can’t wait to see we’re the arc of the Blue Crystals lead.

This is one if the better demos i've seen. I only have three thoughts. 1. Enemies should pose varying degrees of actual danger. Not just be jumping off points to get to different areas. Otherwise the ring/health management is pointless. 2. Level design could benefit from a more intuitive layout. I'm not saying put arrows everywhere, I'm just saying focus on a major movement option per level as the focal theme to guide the player through the main path. Other movement option routes would take players to secret optional areas i.e. red ring areas and life boxes etc. 3. Much more intuitive level design would alleviate the need for a tutorial level, as the levels themselves teach. Great demo. One of few I've been surprised and excited by.

I actually like the voices the characters have here. It was already surprising a game this good gameplay wise could be made in Dreams (as someone who has tried and tried to get good at making games in Dreams, I know how hard it must've been to get this game to be as good as it is. It's really impressive, I could never do anything like this and I think the people working on it deserve as much praise as possible). Though having decent enough voice acting with voices that fit is also an impressive feat. Game just gets better and better. Edit: I'd also would like to add I love the changes made the Emerald Resort and that the levels aren't under 3 minutes long. These levels last just long enough.

The gameplay in this looks phenomenal. Really good, I am over the boost formula myself and would love a return to adventure + enhanced features. About the only thing about this project I don't care for is the music, it's not bad music at all but it doesn't really fit sonic in my opinion. The night city zone or whatever was the closest to an almost, that running down the building sequence was decent - I am pretty sure the tutorial zone comes from persona 5 but it could just have that vibe. Very impressed with the voiceover work.. not only was it recorded very clearly it also was voiced very well.. they got some great sound-a-likes!

All I can do is pray that if they're really going in a new direction with this franchise, that Rangers is the first leap forward instead of a stumble or a faceplant into the dirt. They plan on rebooting the franchise with this game, Ian Flynn says. Hopefully this won't make the previous games (1 through 3 and Sonic adventure 1 and 2) non-existent, and only serves to make Sonic's universe consistent and add to the continuity. Also, I'm hoping they're not afraid to go back to in depth character stories, and Shonen aesthetic (I.E. New villain, a long and impactful character driven story that slowly and carefully introduces plot elements to add a layer of depth, genuine moments of character growth and a dramatic final act with Super Sonic or a new transformation.)

This is incredible. It's what Sonic Adventure 3 must have been. I think what would make an adventure game special is the freedom of movement and abilities to deal with the scenario. Like, you can make Sonic to do some acrobatics and special momentum animations, that would do anything to the gameplay or the score, but you can do that because you can and want to, and feels good to have that freedom in your body. It's more inmersive to the game, and i think this game have a lot of that. A clear probe that boost formula isn't necessary for a successful game
