Dragon ball is better than the last Airbender, even though both are awful. DBE got a lot of the origins wrong, but they still had Goku put on his outfit, they didn't make Chi-Chi just some girl Goku liked, they had a "great ape" made piccolo a bad guy, and had a few decent fight scenes. Airbender had one cool fight (the part where Aang and Zuko team up) as their only positive. everything else was awful. The earth bender scene where they are "imprisoned" made no sense since they weren't on a metal ship and were surrounded by earth. plus it took 10 guys to lift up 1 rock and slightly move it towards an enemy, the fire benders needed fire to do anything was completely wrong, and the fact that no one's names were produced correctly is just the tip of the iceberg. They tried to mash an entire season into one movie, but wasted most of the scenes on stuff that wouldn't matter, had horrible pacing, or didn't feel like it had substance. airbender would be a -10/10 compared to dbe's -7/10
