Ok this animation was great but sonic isn't a predictable fighter, and I can prove it with one sentence. Remember his fight with Emerl. If you know who that is then enough said, but if you don't then I'd be very willing to explain. But I understand in all honesty Lilac stands no chance but it still needs to be an interesting fight so you had to come up with a reason.

People like Shadow, Knuckles, and Rouge would most definitely decimate Lilac in hand to hand combat. And Sonic still managed to win against Ultimate Emerl who absorbed all of Shadow’s, Knuckles’, Rouge, Amy, Tails, and even his own moves, and Sonic still managed to hold his own and beat him. That alone cements him as a better fighter than Lilac.

I think Sonic will win, but mostly due to him having more experience. Sonic has been fighting Eggman and his army for several games and hundreds of episodes, while Lilac had only one game to sharpen her skills. (Though this one looks grown up, so probably have more experience thanks to the sequel that's still in the work). That being said, Lilac have a lot potential, maybe even more than Sonic. Sonic is a bit single-minded, focusing a lot into speed, and he let his arrogance and playfulness get better of him. Lilac is more than just speed. She develop fighting skills as well, and she has much discipline and is more level-headed. Also, while Eggmen is often a comedic character and his attempts to create an empire reach only one planet at best, the one Lilac faced is far more cruel, efficient, and his empire is made of numberous planets. I think it is quanity vs quality, and sometimes, quanity wins. Lilac have potential to surpass Sonic, but she has a looooot catching up to do.

@@kmpgos4158 LOL at Brevon being more “efficient” or more powerful or crueler. Eggman literally destroyed a Star cluster instantaneously with the final egg blaster in Sonic battle. Brevon’s army is featless and is likely about as advanced or maybe slightly more so than Corneria and Venom from Star Fox only in terms of interstellar travel speed. Halo or Star Wars would murder freedom planet, let alone the Eggman Empire which can produce robots that can fight on par with people like Sonic and Shadow. Brevon and his army are fodder, same with the rest of freedom planet which is featless as fuck.

Sonic’s moveset in Battle blows hers out of the water as it is, Lilac was trained by featless fodder thugs who we know NOTHING about. Sonic is officially fighting buddies with Knuckles the Echidna who is a master martial artist, and often one ups him in any fight the two have. Sonic beats out lilac in everything. From speed, to power, to moveset, to skill, to experience. All of it goes to Sonic, you have no way of arguing otherwise.

I find this particularly interesting and it raises some good points! I like how Lilac utilized her martial arts to counter Sonic's speed! Sonic isn't really a Martial Artist, if anything he's got fighting skills of a street brawler but utilizes his "natural abilities" to gain an edge and have some diversity!

But with Lilac's martial arts training I feel like it could make a difference, though of course like you said, its gonna be more than that! I just simply believe this allows Lilac to stand her ground against Sonic fairly very well

the problem of sonic is some very predictable, Sonic not really good agains some who can predic his movement, if egg man stop to make more powerful machine and try to learn a predic the action of Sonic, he will more a tream he ever be but no he belive he can beat sonic only with power! power is nothing if you can't hit and speed is nothing if you have no power to back up(even is little) Lilac use Kunfu and she fast so is clear she a learn to predic the movement of her oppent, of course sonic will give her a good challenge in race and fight but in fighting Lilac is the winner on this and Sonic is in Race!(well because we dont know the True speed of Lilac yet!

@@Brendan-kx8iy I never say she close or faster then Sonic or she far more experienced then him but say she more experienced in combat art, sonic basic fighting, he nerve learn Kunfu or any combat art, he use more his speed then combat, if you think is not him predictable when is come in close combat, well you are wrong, how many time sonic a lose his first against someone who fight better then him in close combat, this is why he use more his speed and more reckless move who can cost his life but he survive by luck, but if fight someone in fair fight, no speed, he will lose, why you think he dodge most of the time when face someone better in close combat and wait the right moment to attack? because he know his own weakness, why you think when he fast Knuckles or Amy he dodge most the time and attack as the first opening is showing up because he know those two can make him KO by one hit, and even not KO yet, he will not make the same mistake, take his foe lightly, every time he do, this mistake a closely cost his life, he know he not immortal, this is why he really careful, yes he do reckless move but he not stupid and wait the right time to attack, why you think he dodge Eggman machine first? simple, he look for a weak point to attack, not all his foe can be take down by one kick or spin dash, he a face foe who can predict his action, well is when he not take the fight serious and lose all the time but not life but next he take the fight more serious because he refuse to lose again. but of course, some do not play fair, like his first fair with Shadow, because he a not take him serious and let him use chaos control and got him self capture by G.U.N( no serious how none a see his sonic not shadow? and People say Amy is color blind? Ok for Amy is SEGA joke of Amy mistake every new Hedgehog character but G.U.N no fan a say a word of this) when is come of the other character Sonic a face and he lose because he a not take the fight seriously but win the next round well most are in comic.. well most of them, even those are made by fans
