One of the co-creators of sonic (Yuji Naka i believe) said that the Hyper Form and Super Emeralds aren’t canon, as well as the fact that in the comics, the super emeralds were sealed in another dimension, and the fact that Sonic Frontiers made the comics canon to the games…you see where i’m getting at here?

Real sonic enjoyers will see hyper as always a canon thing. WE were the ones who made sonic famous after all and loved him in the first place and we still love him to this very momment. Plus, I have some proof. One, if the super emeralds are in another dimension, that doesn't mean that they don't exist. You forgot that blaze is also from another dimension. Super emeralds maybe back. Two, if the comics are canon, then ultra sonic is canon. How will they make this canon and hyper not? Even thought ultra is stronger, hyper is more famous. There will be one thing sega would do to their fans. Let's hope it's hyper form. Hyper forms will stay in our hearts, whether canon or not, it and many things will be canon to real fans.

I feel like sonic is better in his super form because in sa2 he was able to hold out in his form longer than shadow. Ok the comics arent canon but if i remember correctly, after using light energy from a super form, when you revert, you are revitalized and in top condition. But when you use dark energy, it makes your tired. Maybe shadow uses the dark energy of the chaos emeralds while sonic uses the light energy? Explains why sonic was in top condition after he arrived back on the ark after they beat biohazard and shadow “died”

Nop. Dark energy == bad feelings and intentions, like Perfect Chaos. Both Sonic and Shadow used Light energy because they had the good intention to save the world. Shadow failed to control his super form cause : 1) he had just waken up from a 50 years sleeping state and was put into all that action 2) it was his first time using the Super form. 3) he removed the rings, witch made him use all of his power at once.
