This game was so much fun. I got to play it on the Switch first. It's good and playable, but definitely going to replay it on PC and do a 4K movie on that. Chronological Order movie is also otw between both games. I took the time and did all the levels S Rank, and all bosses no damage

So, new Shadow lore I’ve learned from this game: 1. That Gerald was the one who gave Shadow the form of a hedgehog. 2. Maria said she was surprised to find he was a hedgehog, hinting that she was aware of the Black Arm origin and how they-or at least Black Doom-looked like, and therefore expected Shadow to look at least something other than a hedgehog. 3. Gerald Robotnik was the pioneer in research into the power of “chaos control.” This “chaos control” also appears to be the primary factor that Black Doom of the Black Arms gave Gerald access to via his DNA for Shadow’s creation. 4. By Black Doom calling Shadow his “finest creation” implies that he’s made other creations in the past, perhaps for a purpose similar to Shadow, a means to come back stronger in order to conquer and devour other worlds. With Shadow, it wad definitely to “become the perfect being” 5. Maria was the one who named Shadow. 6. Gerald considers Shadow his own son, based on how he addresses Shadow in the final act of the game.

Bruh they actually explained Shadow’s name, that’s crazy. Shadows aren’t darkness, they’re the the pathway to the light that is cast when light interacts with other things. Poetic.

Nice to see a Shadow game and story about just him, especially after his first game end with mix opinions. Good they add things to his story like why his name etc, also bring characters that were in void for long like Gerald, Maria, Doom and even Neo Metal or Mephiles. It could be a bit longer, but glad they still made something more to black hedgehog than him being just a side or one of playable character in title.

I feel like the Sega of a few years ago would have just re-released Generations and slapped a Shadow skin and extra level on. Project 06 has shown us a start for what Sega needs to do- just get Ian to rewrite the story (in proper fashion compared to the limited scope he was given with Sonic Generations), give it an art style more like Sonic Unleashed, and we’re looking at the game that should have been. Shadow 05, however, needs a complete overhaul in everything. For starters, ditch the morality system, including the branching paths. It’s completely pointless. Second, the writing, which is obvious enough.

I really like the Shadow Generations gameplay's graphic and animation that look even as good as Sonic Forces, Sonic Superstars, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the Modern Sonic 3D non-gameplay CGI cutscenes, some of the 3D Super Mario games, and/or the Kingdom Hearts III game' graphic and animation!, if even Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is made by only both SEGA and Sonic Team and not also by Nintendo. But why are the Sonic's birthday party cutscenes' graphic and animation from Shadow Generations still look like the same graphic and animation quality as Sonic Generations' graphic and animation?
