I still hope they just add new levels to both games as DLC. With the Shadow DLC coming out, you can see that in the trailer the he comes out of thise big rings. Just put one of those in white space, close to the collection room in Sonic Generations and like close to the first Doom Power gate thingy, idk. Make a simple list to select dlc levels. Are they doing that? No, probably. Do I want it? YES PLEASE

Platinum Shadow Gens a week ago n I love the new lore for the Robotnik family, Shadow’s closure with Maria, lvl design, doom powers, white space zone, n bosses. Almost a 10 out of 10 game for me but only problem I wish they added is skill shop, costumes, n maybe one more fun character side missions to add more replay ability. It’s still a 9 out of 10 game but still this game could have been my top 3 Sonic games if they added those features. Can’t wait for the Movie dlc n what they’ll cook up. Honestly don’t mind if they keep boost in the future, especially if they keep the Unleashed n Gens devs and let them have fun creating new gimmicks that open up new pathways like chaos control n doom wings done with Radical Highway. Imagine how well they cook do for other characters like Knuxs, Blaze, Silver etc n utilize their movesets that open up new pathways. Plus bosses too.

@sap9255 That’s the Unleashed n Gens lvl designer for u. I replay Unleashed n Gens on my PS3 for like 12 years or more n never got bored of speedrunning each lvl. Now with Shadow Gens n how well they utilize Shadow’s movesets to expand each lvl, I wouldn’t be surprised if folks still replay Shadow Gens for like 15 years or more (Especially with movie dlc, mods, and maybe more dlc content if Sonic Team goes with the Frontiers route)

Ok so I actually pausing the video to say this now. Firstly I want to mention here, I just realized, I have only played 2 levels that are in Shadow Gens in their original forms. Never played 06', really want to tho, I am currently playing Heroes wvery now and then, on Dolphin, on my phone, it's gonna take a while lol, I'm still at Team Sonic. I had Adventure 2 on my pc but I was gonna do Hero Story then Dark Story, aand I got stuck in one of Knuckles's levels and dropped it, way to go me. Anyway, my second point here is: As SF Produtcions probably knows by this point, as somehow I manage to say that in every community post of his. I like Sonic Forces, Gens is my probably favorite game of all time, but when my PC broke, I couldn't play it, in fact, I couldn't play any 3D Sonic game, sure I could play the classics, I still gotta beat them by the way lol, but right after, my dad worked hard and got me an used PS4, sure games are expensive, but it came with PES 2019 and GTA V, still haven't played all of GTA V, or of any GTA game tbh, I was just having fun with the cheatcodes, but anyway, a few months before Frontiers released Forces had a crazy sale and it was super cheap, so I got it, and I was expecting it to be bad. But when I started playing it, it felt just fine, sure classic sonic xan be a bit wonky at times but he isn't nearly as bad as the internet says he is, even if the dropdash is carrying him, that remids me that I also had Mania on steam and haven't played it in almost 3 years, wow. Forces was MY Sonic game for basically 2 years, and then for this year I got 3 games for my birthday iwent expensive this year lol), FFVII Remake, which I haven't finished yet, Spider Man PS4 which I loved so much it was my second platinum. And of course Sonic Frontiers, that I loved so much it was my FIRST platinum lol. Frontiers is a special game to me, I remember one day randomly just lost in my thoughts, I imagined Sonic running in an open field with next gen graphics, amazing lighting and the best part, amaizng controls. And I could feel it, I don't know how, i could, and it felt great, and I wanted Frontiers to be that, and obviously I got it with all the updates so I didn't live some of the complaints, and it's not a perfect game sure, but it felt amazing to control Sonic in that amazing open field, even with the "jankyness", or y'know, Chaos Island being Chaos Island, but I was so happy. It was MY Sonic game, it and Forces were the games I was playing, and I was having a blast. Even with Forces being objectively a bad game imo, even with cyberspace being really weird in the controls, I can't help but love these games. And now, I can play those games and my favorite game of all time? I couldn't be happier now, thso year started of weird ngl, some uh, interesting stuff happening around me, February had a lot of drama for some reason lol, but looking past that stuff, now almost at the end of the year, my personal life has been great, I have been the happiest person ever with this new Sonic game (psak fiction), School, shockingly been a good experience, and it's looking to get better. The only bad part rlly, is the fact that I only have a ps4, trust me, that's not bad. My concern here is, I won't be able to play the next mainline game here, in fact, I only think the ps4 in getting like, 1 or 2 more Sonic releases, but 2025 onward I'm going to focus on eventually getting that PC I've been dreaming about. Anyway, there's still a good amount of video, currently at 1:00:30 . So expect another gaming essay lol. Back to time attacking stages while listening to Starfall Radio😂 (just got 22nd global on Chemical plant act 2 while watching this btw)

Sonic Gens is my favorite game of all time, but I went like 2 years without playing it, I still had the level design glued on to my mind, but I played Frontiers so much that I used the new controls easily, the spindash on R2 is kinda weird, but usable. And the fact that you still can homing attack really helps if my Frontiers muscle memory goes wrong

The game was phenomenal!! Especially Shadow Generations, I smiled going through stages I wished to see in the future since I first go Generations. I loved the boss battles and lost my mind over how well Mephiles was and giving Sunset Heights redemption. Makes me think they should give Forces another try in a decade or two

Talking about the naming stuff. Firstly, City Escape is a canon name, the little name things of white space are canon. Green Hill makes sense I guess. Chemical Plant is weird but I got used to it. Sky Sanctuary is a name they would use, they probably already did that, it's probably not the actual name of the place, but it's a good name still. Speed Highway could make sense. City Escape is weird, but ok. Seaside Hill is canon, could be better but it's fine. Crisis City is good. Rooftop Run is Spagonia, and even then Rooftop Run still works for Sonic. And of course Planet Wisp makes sense. I have to ask though, we can all agree to call Sunset Heights... Well, Sunset Heights, as y'know, Forces just calls it City. And not gonna lie, I loved it in this game, and I like it in Forces, but Sunset Heights got so much better here, my only complain, is that, and I thought this was my emotional attachment but there's a good chunk of people that agree with me. The music for Sunset Heights Act 1 is amazing, but the Og just hits harder. This sounds really funny, even for me lol, but the synth they used was too tame, it FELT weaker, but this is just my musician self speaking. Also Tifa Thursday or something like that

@ YES. Literally yes. Except Heroes isn’t broken or a prototype/prerelease/alpha build of a game that never got enough time in the oven. Heroes is more finished and polished then 06. All you need is a few mods to make it a better PC port and it’s perfect. The rest is skill issue territory. But the haters will not be willing to go thru the effort of downloading all the mods and patches and setting up the confusing old pc port meant for windows XP. So we literally have to get a P06 thing so it’s just an all in one easy peasy thing for the normies and lazy people.

Probably just commenting some stuff as the video goes on, about the rewrite, I like how Sonic was written in Frontiers, and this game is perfect for references, and I personally loved the Time Stones reference. However, I remember when some cutscenes leaked, the Chemical Plant one where Tails mentions West Side Island was kinda cool, but now, especially knowing that he also mentions South Island, took all the "respect", I guess that's a word I can use, but still, I would be able to take these references, but like. Amy. Rose. I like the way she was written is Frontiers, and even though I think they should try to find a balance between the independence and the obsessive flirting lol, I liked how she was written in Frontiers, but just erasing the past like that, that's something I didn't like. Now, the big thing. The voice direction. IT SUCKS. I love Roger as Sonic, and the other voice actors that are working there, honestly, after that weird fangame or something like that, "Sonic Dream Team" (is that even a real thing or am I trippin?). Joking aside, after that, Karen Strassman honestly surprised me with her voice in this game, even if it was better in OG Gens. But I have to say, literally everyone, sounds worse, Roger sounds super forced, like, one of the first lines, "Where am I?" The original cutscenes have Roger doing a good delivery on that line, in the new ones, I think Roger just went there, went: "WheRe AM I." and left. In my opinion, they made some lines that were perfectly fine in the original worse, both in writing and voice direction. I am not shaming the voice actors in any way, I grew up with most of them, always liked them, and still do, but the voice direction needs to change ASAP.

I don’t mind the new lines and in fact I like that Sonic interacts with his gang instead of just thumbs up, smh, or cross hands. However agreed, the line delivery from the actors (Beside Shadow Gens) is awful. They busy fixing lines but couldn’t reanimate moments that could have fit with the new lines (If u place OG Gens, then u know), new glitches (Not harmful like Colors Ultimate but still bad), and still no improvement for Time Eater. Hot cake n I don’t even like Colors Ultimate, but if we’re comparing non seizure Colors Ultimate n Sonic Gens Port, I low-key think Colors Ultimate is better in terms of better content. New homing attack, Metal race, and cosmetics are cool additions compared to just collect chao. Story wise, honestly both are mid but ill take Colors since at least the line delivery is the same n doesn’t sound like the team tried to force new lines into old cutscenes that just doesn’t fit. Tbf even with some flaws of Sonic Gens port, I still would rather replay Sonic Gens over Colors (Both OG n ultimate) since it’s Gens, but I’m still kinda low-key disappointed in the content n effort they put into Sonic Gens port tbr. If they are planning to bring back Unleashed, PLZZZZ FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, Sonic Team just port Unleashed to modern hardware with better performance, possibly keep 4kids lines or maybe bring back Jason Griffin n Chip’s actor, n maybe cleaner graphics. No rewrites or animation or any unnecessary crap that would harm what made Unleashed goated. If they are bringing back Heroes, ehhh tbr I don’t care that much about the game but even then I hope they don’t make unnecessary changes like Amy rewrite. I don’t mind new lines since Heroes story is mid but I’ll give it this, at least OG story has charm thxs to the OG actors bring expression n goofiness to each character. If they add new lines that aren’t cringe but line delivery is the same as Gens port, then Heroes fan might be cooked
