I mean for starters, modern sonic voice directing is usually dogwater on top of already having very unfitting voice actors for their characters (I.e. Kirk Thornton for example) but stuff like this is why celebrities shouldn’t be casted as voice actors UNLESS they have actual voice acting experience and talent, but money is always more important to them. This line delivery is terrible

He sounds like he was shoved in a booth they had reserved for 10 minutes at 4AM, given the lines, was directed to "not make Shadow as angsty as in the movie", and then recorded all the lines on the first take while half-asleep. Absolutely awful voice acting, but I'm not blaming Keanu, probably wasn't his fault.

To everyone saying that one level is too short: read the title again. This is just ACT 1 of this zone. I highly doubt Sega would reveal the entire DLC. The only thing I agree could be better are the voice lines, they don't sound as good I would expect them to be.

So, in the context of most Sonic games, including Sonic X Shadow, you can just BS the random springs and speed pads, etc, all over architecture away with "that's just how the Sonic dimension is". This is meant to be literal real world Tokyo. What's the excuse here? Honestly don't think it'd have been beyond their abilities to design this one level to not use the typical Sonic level gimmicks, and do a more JSR style level design--like, design it around the city's natural architecture.

True. While the movie models will never look good outside of the actual films or the newer figures, it’s still an improvement over the awful mobile game versions, but with the model, there’s now more availablity for 3D fanart and mods

By that I mean the movie designs do look genuinely really fantastic, especially with each new film (though sonic does get more wrinkly with each and it looks gross) the movie models will look strange outside of a prerendered film environment. But this is definitely better than the cases before, but it’s cool that we have a movie model for shadow even if it isn’t extremely detailed.
