The only song he sounds like he's fully responsible for so far is the stage clear jingle, as it sounds like his Puyo Puyo eSports Main Theme and Fist Bump Edgy RMX. Jun-directed soundtracks usually have a lot of rock songs made by him. Final Rush (which is Cyber Space-styled EDM) sounds like Rintaro Soma, Radical Highway (which is also Cyber Space-styled EDM) sounds like Kanon Oguni, but the guitars in both songs sound like they're played by Jun. This isn't indicative of him being sound director, though. If anything, him only featuring as guitarist on some other tracks, or doing smaller jingles, implies the opposite. For Sonic Lost Wolrd Jun played guitars on one track, and for Sonic Forces he played guitars on all the Infinite-related and Episode Shadow songs, but Tomoya Ohtani was the sound director for both of those games. The guitars and drums in the Supporting Me remix sound like MEG's contributions to I'm Here, Undefeatable, Break Through It All, and Find Your Flame. In those songs he played guitar, but also programmed the drums and bass (as opposed to an actual drummer and bass player performing on the song). And finally there is the main menu, which is barely audible in this video. From what we can hear, though, it appears to be a remix of Throw It All Away, but it sounds very similar to Infinite. So basically, so far, the soundtrack sounds like Sonic Adventure 2 Frontiersified, with active involvement from Jun Senoue, who doesn't appear to be sound director, from what little of the soundtrack we've heard.

That's weird because the music in this gameplay footage is different from the other gameplay videos. Ark in the official gameplay video use a remix of the stage "The Ark" from Shadow the hedgehog while here its using a remix of Final Rush from SA2 (which use the same leitmotif but is way faster paced). And the other Biolizard fight footage use the Generation 3DS remix while this one use the new remix.

Even though they remixed Final Rush for the music, the actual layout for stage seems like more of a mish-mash of most of the ARK levels from SA2 and Shadow the Hedgehog. For example, the stage starts up more or less like Final Chase with Shadow grinding on a swirling rail before going down a steep incline. I'm guessing they chose Final Rush here to open up with more of an upbeat tone for (what looks like) the first stage. If there's a Space Colony ARK Act 2, maybe they could lean into a more threatening tone with a Final Chase remix or maybe even Cosmic Fall.

The clearer press footage is seemingly an earlier build before the music was finalized so they just used "the ark" from shadow the hedgehog (2005) as a placeholder track. Where as the in person demo event this footage comes from uses a later build with a finalized final rush remix.

One small critique, while this is a massive improvement compared to the past boost games that came out. My problem are the enemies. It seems like we will never get unleashed tier enemies that can be a challenge. I get it most enemies don’t move in boost games but these are way too easy. My reference is eggman land. It wasn’t that the enemies were difficult, they seemed to go with the flow of the level and would trip you up. All had abilities that would inflict damage, shock you, burn you, etc.
