Sonic World DX (Release 1) is here!

This video took a LONG while to make including many of the technical problems this build has, so if you guys can please smash that like button, I’d really appreciate the support! I want to say thank you so much to the team behind Sonic World DX for making such an amazing game as well as giving me the opportunity to play the 1st release early! Now there are some things I want to clear up. Please note that this build of the 1st release is not final. Some things could change from the finalized 1st release of the game. I'm sorry that the render distance isn’t really the best. I do want to run this game at high settings but unfortunately the game runs quite poorly on those settings, and it’s not because of my PC, it’s because of the Blitz Engine as it’s really outdated (It’s from 2008). And also this video does not contain any of the missions because I didn’t want this video to be too long, as well as the super forms for the rest of the characters that I missed. And there is one stage that I missed which is Worst Cave but it’s only accessible by completing Encore Mode with S ranks and I didn’t really have the time nor patience for that. But other than that, this video showcases mostly everything from the 1st release! Soon I'm going to be making some Sonic World DX character mod showcases that aren’t released yet so it will be an exclusive showcase. Thank you all so much for watching and the countless support you’ve shown my channel to get me to this point. I couldn't have done this or been able to play this early without you guys. It's truly such an honor!

This looks incredible! I'm also digging the fact that you can play as so many characters, not just Sonic. I get that he's the main character and everything but playing as the other characters is much more fun. There's also a Chao Garden too?! omg I can't wait to try this!

They are all same.The game is made on a prehistoric engine. She does not work. It's just not fun to play. All the characters are almost the same, the only difference is in the design of the attacks.

Great style on the characters movements and techniques. I’d say you’re a pro, Sega should’ve picked you to be the head chief of the VG screenwriting crew making the Sonic games. Hook me up with that game if you can do a console video game version of it. A few things though: - Blaze’s flames when attacking badniks should’ve looked more realistic compared to the flames in Sonic 06 (29:01). - Silver’s position while gliding with his telekinesis should’ve been more like in a slightly diagonal-shaped position close to a plank but with his head up. (35:20)(The video game mechanic did a great job with that for Sonic P06.) - Especially when he is attacking Badniks in his path, the movement of him telekinetically moving them should’ve went like they should’ve been rotatable like a rolling ball. Even when he does it with wooden and metal crates owned by G.U.N. (32:34 - 32:42) - What about Mighty and Ray? Since the classic era came first, it was little to know the classic universe is separate from the universe of Modern Sonic physically and timely in the games, I think. Mighty and Ray were never shown after Sonic Adventure came around for the Dreamcast. According to an episode in sonic boom Eggman states him and Steve Eggman send Sonic to a separate boom universe where he never exists. Maybe that’s what happened to mighty and Ray only existing in the Classic Sonic universe. By the way, they don’t even have their personal actors to voice them either. - Cream‘s voice is higher with a screeching eeh sound, like you’re letting your nasal passage get the better of you cringing your face, but keep it soft as possible. The voice actor should’ve picked up that more. No offense. (24:30) Other than that, you done great with them. Even when the Chao Gardens you created yourself have much wider spaces and the scenery of it looks phenomenal. Great structure on the sanctuary’s design!👍 Now, I would think everybody wants a Sonic Frontiers sequel. and believe me I also wanted too. Especially when I am thinking of trying to create a story that fits with everything like the original, but include every other character who was never playable after almost 20 years had passed since they were even playable, i.e. in Sonic 06. They deserve to have those kind of limited chances again either way.

This game is ridiculously fun. Like it's got some jank and trial and error when you first play it because of how the automated sections work, but honestly the pure fun makes up for it. This is like adventure sonic, but more of it.

Definitely looks like 06 and seems like Sonic is a little slippery and all the characters look like they want to keep moving forward, but I think that's just the engine. It looks like a lot of fun and the music and voices are all great! Some of the levels I am not familiar with, like Misty Gorge (its music and scenery makes me think it's near Canyon Hill). There are a lot of little reference details I noticed that were awesome, like Emerald Coast's path to the pool area of Station Square, which is very nice to go into! Also in Metal Harbor, I believe that one area with a crate in it was where Amy was locked up??? Idk, might be misremembering. Rouge's animation is really nice and it's funny that Amy can use her hammer to fly a little, that's neat. Cream's sound effects or Green Forests (the speedy noises and such) are absolutely awesome, they sound silly but nice at the same time, it's very fitting! Overall, this looks really fun. It's too bad SEGA is so constrained by legal things and Sonic Team's creativity has been hampered because of the loss of good devs and other employees as well as the restrictions on what can and can't be done with Sonic. Great work so far!

Kind of surprised Blaze doesn't have the Boost. She was introduced alongside the mechanic as a whole in Rush, so in a multi-character Sonic game where Sonic himself doesn't have it, I'd definitely expect her to.

Gameplay is extremely buggy, especially on automated sections. Everything also loads very slowly (which I guess makes sense, it’s running on a 2002 engine). And Chao Garden is just…broken. Just play modded SA2 or Generations, folks.

Tails is known for his speed more than Knuckles. So it makes sense imo. Knuckles isn't slow, but he's not known for his speed. Tails is known as the first one who could keep up with Sonic(when he's running casually)
