As someone who loved playing the original game on the DS, this fan game is insane! Leaf Storm was made way better than the original. I also like the touch of Sonic's voice clips from Sonic Unleashed being compressed to the same level as the tricking voice clips. Oh wait, every sound effect is compressed to that level (apart from the rings), making the experience even more authentic to the original. If I could play this myself (due to a lack of a PC I can't), I absolutely would.
